I had heard good reviews from colleagues about Bangkok Hung Cafe, so I tried it for myself. I wasn't disappointed. The Curry fried rice with extra curry was excellent. The medium spice was just right, but it did have a kick. The portion was huge and not expensive. $8.75

Tucked away in a strip mall along Northwestern is a great Thai restaurant. I had Pad Pak with mild spice. It was fantastic with a slight sweet taste which I haven't had at other Thai restaurants. The serving for lunch was ample and came with a bowl of hot and sour soup. The service was attentive and fast (almost too... More

Don't let the outside fool you. This looks like it's going to be a very small and dumpy place from the outside, and while it isn't beautiful inside it is nice and seats quite a few people. Be warned, it gets extremely busy during the workday lunch hours and parking can sometimes be an issue. The food is reasonably priced... More

I order the Kow Pad with chicken, hot spice. It is basically fried rice, chicken, vegetables, fried egg, and very hot. I love this dish. I have tried many other things on the menu and rate them a 3star. However, this dish is a 4star for me. Tip - the food can be spicy. hot spice is generally pretty hot,... More

The staff is friendly and service relatively quick. We stop here a lot for lunch in groups of 4 - 8 and everyone leaves satisfied. Lunch prices are decent and the meals come with soup. It's not a large place, so get there early.

This Thai place is a favorite of mine, but very often (especially on carry-out), their veggie fried rice is swimming in a shallow pool of oil. This past week, I finally (duh) asked them to use less oil and the result was amazing. Best veggie fried rice anywhere (and I have travelled a lot). My co-workers (including some vegetarians) are... Hung Cafe has the best best best Thai food I have ever tasted (and trust me I have been to a lot). They make delicious Curry fried rice (my secret : ask them to add extra curry), definitely a 'Must Taste'. And the quantity is surplus. Sure shot restaurant whenever I am hungry and in no mood to experiment :)... More

The food here is really really good. I have been going for a few years, but just recently started to try other items on the menu. The Pad Almond was my normal go to, but the Pud Thai and Pud Se Ew are also quite good. I just tried the Bangkok Fried Rice and the Green Curry is another good... More

I used to work near this location, and visited frequently for lunch. Quality of the food is consistently excellent and portions are ample. Each dish is freshly prepared to order. Highly recommend any version of their Thai fried rice, (veggie fried rice is the best I've eaten anywhere) and their cachew chicken. Most dishes can be prepared mild, medium or... More
