The burgers were great and the local soda was a nice change! Indoor seating is limited but the atmosphere of Traverse City from bygone eras was both interesting and appealing. Do not be daunted by a long line. We began our wait outside the door...More

These burgers definitely hit the spot. We each got a bacon burger and split an order of chili cheese fries. Pretzel bun was worth the upgrade. The perfect amount of food for a great price. The setting is in a cute older home and the...More

This little establishment was recommended to us while on the Tall Ships sailing trip by a couple of different people when we are asking around for a good lunch spot to go to after the cruise. Highly recommend the Cherry Burger. How can onions, bleu...More

So, a lot of times you can find a great burger place, but the fries are just ehh. Or you get lucky and find the combo of great burger and fries, but no shakes offered. Slabtown has it ALL. The burgers are heavenly, and we...More

A great burger!! The pretzel bun was awesome!! My family had the black and blue, the pungi pepper patty, the rodeo burger and a customized slabby patty. They were all excellent!! The fries were fresh and home made. And the sweet potato fries were the...More

This is what a burger and fries should be! Don't miss the sweet potato fries. They are to die for. Get the burger with dried cherries on it for a real traverse city treat

Went here on the way out of town. Glad we did. Excellent burgers with cheap prices. Fries and sweet potato fries are delicious. Local sodas. Great environment and friendly staff. Definitely will go back.

Ate here from a friend's recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Their pretzel buns and burgers were yummy and filling. Busy place but highly recommend.

They are cutting so many corners here now it hardly seems like the same restaurant it was a few years ago. What happened to Bubba's (resting on laurels, raising prices, cutting corners) has happened to them in spades. Total cash grab.

The Burgers are AMAZING!! A unique and nice old house was remodeled to house this restaurant with the yummy food.

It is a converted house with fairly limited seating. If I remember correctly they did have moveable tables. I think you should call them if your group is more than seven or eight.
