Love the personal attention and great food. Friendly. Eclectic. Love seeing them in this new location. Adds so much to Traverse City's cultural appeal. By the way, the tea is great; a must try!

Just walking in should've given me a clue the no furniture, three to four tables, no matching water glasses or even matching silverware. It wasn't that they were out of ice they don't have an icemaker so if you are interested in a cool beverage this is the place to get it. Now I like greasy spoons because the food... More

Recently moved to the area and needed some galaba. None to be found. Everything here was meh at best. Won't be returning. Hope to find some good suitable middle eastern food in northern Michigan.

Very tasty Mediterranean food at reasonable prices. Good service Just opened on South Airport. If you are going it's in second strip mall on South side West of LaFranier.

Re-opened on South Airport Rd.! You can now eat the great Middle-Eastern (actually Jordanian) food that we used to travel 2-5 hrs for. If you have experienced true hospitality, you know what we have been missing during the hiatus.

This is one of very few restaurants in the area that offer residents and visitors the opportunity to eat food from a different culture. I loved the appetizers, it was full of flavor and I don't think there's anything quite like it in the area.

My husband and I met my brother and his wife for a quick dinner on a cold winter night. Having traveled in Israel, I have some familiarity with middle eastern foods. I found the shawarma and falafel to be well made and delicious. The house made humus was also very good. The belly dancer was... as I said Very Interesting.... More

Zakey started in a little place behind Roy's hardware out at the corner of 3 Mile and Hammond before moving downtown several years ago (meaning they did well enough out in the middle of nowhere to be able to move downtown). This is a small restaurant located in one of th old long and narrow strip buildings which are common... More

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was seeing as I had never had Middle Eastern Food. The restaurant is small but you seem not to notice as it is very nice inside. The food is GREAT. My wife is Vegan and she loved her food. I am a meat eater and I loved my food as well.... More
