Probably theee best ice cream in the USA! Just ask Al Roker! Moomers was featured on NBC's 'Today'' program a few years ago. The portions are generous, and the ''Butter Fat'' content is almost ''illegal' ..LOL That's why it tastes so good! No trip to Traverse City is complete without a stop out to Moomers!! Just a few miles west... More

The best ice cream in Michigan! They make it right there on their farm! While you eat the delicious ice cream you can look out at the cows and open field!

If you want really good ice cream moomers is the place to go! There butter pecan is the best I have ever had. A friend of mine really likes Cow Tracks. I had to take a 2.5 gal. Container to him when we visited in Kentucky.

This is very good ice cream. But, there are plenty of good ice creams out there. This is more a destination place, that you have drive to out of town if you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time. In the summertime, it is neat for the children to see the cows next door. The ice cream is... More

This is the best place for ice cream. It was so fantastic and wonderful. The choices are great and the taste is just great. They offer ice cream flights like the breweries up here offer beer flights. So cool.

This was our first time there. We had a Turtle Sundae, it was very good. Very nice staff and for a cold Sat night we were surprised how busy they were.

Pro's: Family owned, real cream instead of non-cream thickeners. Con's: Sweeter than necessary for such high-quality ice cream, would be better with more-fruit/less-syrupy flavorings. I get the butter pecan, since the saltiness helps to offset the sweetness, but with many of the flavors, the sweetness overwhelms the wonderful creamy flavor that sets real ice cream apart from store brands.
