We visited in April 2017. The food was very good and the service was excellent. There was a short line but we got right in at a table for two. Austin our waiter was very attentive. We had more than enough food and had to bring some home. Chips and salsa to start. Chips weren't my favorite but salsa was... More

A house specialty and the Red Mesa, Colombian Tuna, Coffee pasilla crusted tuna over tomatillo sauce with avocado sour cream. With gringo rice, stewed black beans, and fresh vegetables. Simply one of the best in Traverse City.

We very much enjoyed having dinner at this Peruvian/Mexican/Latino restaurant. Decor is cute, service was great. Very crowded, but felt secluded in a back booth. Wasn't there in time for the music. Good bar selections.

We had a very nice waiter Burt! Very personable and kind. We went to this place 2 days in a row because the coconut banana bread pudding is amazing! We definitely will come back here during our next visit to Grand Traverse!

My wife and I recently ate at Red Mesa Grill. It was good Mexican food. The beans had a new taste. The chicken for the fajitas was perfectly cook. Fun atmosphere, and decorated with many relevant theme items.

Red Mesa grill has super salsa, cold beer and excellent entrees. The Brazilian steak and the pork burrito are top notch. The funky atmosphere is relaxing and humorous. We have been here about 10 times and always loved it.

I travel around the US a lot for work, and I tend to look for restaurants that feature "local" cuisine. So, a Mexican restaurant in the Great Lakes area is not what I would normally try. I am so glad I did! I had the seared tuna tacos - very meaty and tasty. The chips and salsa are a great... More

The atmosphere was fun with the wacky decor and the great music. Our service was friendly and knowledgeable. We love the fajita dinner, but the desert was even better! It was fried ice cream with habanero chocolate sauce!

Excellent guacamole, chips & salsa! Tasty mojitos & margaritas made with their house sour mix. Tacos were a hit as well. Fun atmosphere for any group!
