My husband and have been here twice and loved it! On two recent trips up to the North Shore, we have stopped there and now has to be a regular stop anytime we're up there! Awesome beer selection, food is amazing, service is great and view of the lake is unbeatable! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Staff was friendly and food order was quickly brought out. We had the Jucy Lucy burger with house potato chips, which were both excellent. Overall it was a good enjoyable meal.

The food was ok once we got it. Service was a little slow. A little on the pricey side. Did have a nice selection of brewery options

Their special was amazing. Delicious breakfast sandwich with a side of some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Definitely enough food for two, worth every penny. Love the location, the atmosphere, the beer, cannot beat the view. It is more expensive than some, but it's worth it for the quality/quantity and supporting our local community.

The location and staff were great. The food was good but there were very few quality choices for vegetarians. They had some fish options but all were made with the same fish, so that was somewhat limiting as well.

I'm a pilsner fan and Ankle Deep is excellent. Come for the beer and stay for the food. Definitely ramp up the Ruben or Cuban with the house fries. Crispy, salty, seasoned, and perfect with beer.

House brews, good bar food and ambiance - can't ask for much more. This is always my recommendation for anyone visiting Duluth and always my first choice. The service is great and not much better anywhere for brews. Jamie was great and very attentive.

Though the person seating us tried to put us in a cramped corner she protested only a little when we asked for a seat in the main area. The server was great. The beer was great. We ordered a large salad and fish and chips in spite of the fact that most of the people around us were ordering hamburgers.... More
