We were visiting Duluth and walked in to this cafe for coffee and muffin. We stood at the counter where two others were standing as well. Couldn't tell if the others had been waited on or were next? The woman at the register looked up at me and looked away and walked into the dining room. Didn't smile, didn't make... More

We visited on a Monday morning and found the service to be slow. May have been a bad day. Northwoods Ben was a very good variation on Eggs Benedict (nice "kick"). Fresh bakery items make this place unique. There is a nice family are with toys & aquarium to keep the young kids entertained while waiting.

Got the Pumpkin spice latte. Mild flavour and not super sugary like the chain store coffee shops. Espresso shot was made by grinding beans and packing them for brewing--another difference from a chain shop which have become automated. Muffins were dense (that's a good thing) and full of real berries. Items were a bit on the expensive side, but oh... More

We had breakfast here. The wait was long, but the food very good. Service was excellent...as was the live music. Over all we enjoyed our experience.

Great place to enjoy a quick or lingering meal with super location. Enjoy a meal and then get a coffee and more goodies to go while you walk around canal park.

Service was fast and polite. My bacon turkey sandwich came without the bacon. Our sandwiches were small but good. Small selection of baked goods, high priced but tasted fine.

Amazing grace used to be my favorite coffee shop. No more. Decor has changed. Bakery is very limited. Prices have gone up. No more build your own sandwiches.

I've loved Amazing Grace for years, but my last few visits have been really disappointing. The food is still ok (although the last muffins I had were pretty leaden), but service seems more often than not to be slow, sloppy, and unfriendly. The wait for food is usually really long (always has been), but there seems to always be a... More

These employees need to learn about customer service and public relations. It takes very little effort to turn and say, "Be right with you" when they see someone come in. I watched as three or four of us came in and not one out of the four people behind the counter so much as glanced at us. One guy waited... More

Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns are made from scratch daily. Whether it's muffins for your morning meeting or a cake for your wedding, the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe is gladly here to serve you. We have always seen the need for locally conscious and globally friendly businesses. That's why we also specialize in local eggs from Promised Land Farms, local honey from the Bar Bell Bee Ranch, fresh local beer from the Bent Paddle Brewing Company, beans from local roasters Alakef, local syrup from Simple Gifts, all of our to go containers and utensils are compostable, and we also compost all of our food and coffee waste. This bakery that added a coffee shop that started making sandwiches that started making breakfast all in the same spot has been locally owned and operated since its inception, 1995. Built on one iconic saying from our late founder, "be kind, be brave, don't eat bad bread", the Amazing Grace has held true to those ideals for nearly two decades and will for many more to come.
