We're in Duluth for a hockey tournament (Why else would we be here in December?) And decided to stop at Angie's for fajitas and beers. Pleasant greeting at the door, nice staff, energetic environment, food so so. We ordered chips and salsa to start. The chips were okay and the salsa fresh but bland. We shared a mahi mahi fajita... First time and last time here. Chicken fajitas were small and the waiter seemed disinterested in me. Asked others if they wanted dessert but not me.

While touring and staying in canal park we wandered in here for dinner. We were told 45 minute wait but were seated much faster. Dinner was ok. Nothing too exciting. Margaritas tasted pretty watered down. Nachos to start were tasty but your house salsa isn't very good. Very watery. Waitress was efficient but cool.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. Our server was honest and attentive. She gave us good drink recommendations. Our food was also quite good.

We've eaten at Little Angie's each of the five our six times we've stopped in Duluth. It was long our favorite restaurant in town. The experience on this visit was nothing short of horrible. The food was bad and the service was bad. Though the restaurant was mostly empty on an off-season weekday evening, our drinks were never filled. When... More

Brian, Thank you so much for telling us about your experience. I cannot tell you how very disappointed I am that the staff, on the night of your visit, was this poor! There is no excuse. Not for the bad service, or the host on the phone. I can assure you, this is not the norm and our staff was... More

Little Angie's used to be our favorite restaurant. Once, about 25 years ago, we drove three hours just to go to lunch there. After an absence of a couple years, we decided to grab a good lunch before heading home. Nothing was as expected. We used to love the black beans and saffron rice. The beans were not as good,... Thank you so much for telling us about your experience at the Cantina. I'm sorry to hear that it was not as you remembered it from many years ago. We did change the saffron rice to poblano rice, an authentic addition to the menu. We haven't changed the delicious black bean recipe so I am sorry, again, that it was... More
