We always stop here after we get a Christmas tree at the nearby tree farm. Usually breakfast but this year we stopped for lunch. Had a burger. Pretty good! Their breakfast is pretty good, too.

Nice little local dinner. I stopped there on the way to Rochester Minnesota. The menu is American style home cooking. I thought the food was delicious and the people were really polite.

We stopped here seeing 4.4 rating thought food would be good. Boy was that wrong. Hamburger was burnt around the edges, and fries were so crispy they crumbled. No asking how food was just pay and move on. So bad I would not even give them a second chance. Little Oscar's is completely done in my book. Or should I... More

Friendly wait staff, and very good food and big portions. I would certainly recommend a stop, if you are in lovely Minnesota!!

stopped off during a recent bike trip (it was raining), I had never heard of this place before. Early Sunday morning, before the church crowd had arrived. Best breakfast ever. The wait help was very attentive and friendly (we had to peel our gear off). on the counter when we arrived were the biggest Caramel Pecan rolls ever!! Hubby and... More

Stopped by Little Oscars for a (hopefully) healthy lunch. Saw an item labeled "broasted chicken".....combination of roasted and broiled....right? Wrong! It was battered and deep fried. I removed the outside layer and found rubbery chicken. Pretty tastless. Waitress was nice but we could have done without all the flies landing on our food.

Each year a friend and I take a road trip from the Twin Cities south on Hwy 52 to Cannon Falls, to ride bicycles along the beautiful Cannon River Trail, which runs between Cannon Falls and Red Wing, MN. The halfway point is the lovely Welch Village, known as a winter ski resort, but also a charming little village in... More

Little Oscars was just what I hoped for; friendly staff, locals and good quality soup and sandwiches. Would gladly stop again if I ever find myself in Hampton.

If you enjoy local, fresh, home cooked food, this is your stop. They get their bacon from a local butcher and it is worth it even if you just have one of their fresh, home baked pies. The chicken is broasted for a fresh and juicy taste and the burgers are great. Their omlettes are always a favoritie and you... More

This cozy little restaurant is right off of Hwy 52 and is a very popular stop for hungry travelers. We have gone multiple times and even with a wait it is definitely worth it! I can't say enough good things about the french toast, it's one of the best I've ever had...perfectly eggy and thick! The bacon is also delicious,... More
