order in 2 rows dishes, first was order for kids. we asked to bring it first asap, coz kids hungry. after serving drinks they start bring 2nd row order. after 30 min when we ask about first order actually they forgot about it. when we...ask for bill they start serve food from 1st order, we reject food, but they dare to include it in bill. after explaining it to manager (i guess it was manager), they exclude dish from the bill. btw it wasnt busy time, just 1 more table with us.More
Loved this little tea house in Georgetown, a lovely selection of tea, fruit juices etc. I had cheesecake and a fruit juice as well as an iced tea and I’ll admit, after an evening of shopping it ended my evening perfectly. A cosy atmosphere, with...pleasant staff, I’d go there again. I actually visited a few years ago, photos attached but at that time wasn’t on trip advisor but it was early December so have put Dec 2017 instead.More
Recommended for the milk tea which comes with the pot.
Food is ok. Have varieties of hi tea choices. Recommended for main meal also as there are varieties of main course.
Renovated in an English environment.
Great for gathering.
I like the smell of fresh coffee and toast bread and cosy English ambient. The restaurant display tea set for sale at one corner and really like the decor. Sandwiches and croissant were not bad. And for breakfast set with free flow coffee or tea...is value for money should you have the whole morning to spend there.More
Decor is decent. Fruit tea was good. Pasta and rice average. Service was mediocre. We waited eighty minutes for a meal. If you are going to take so long, it is standard procedure to inform the customer beforehand.
My sister and I love this place. The ambience and interior design creates a very warm and fuzzy feeling each time we dine there. They've some very good food; our favorite has always been the cheese baked spaghetti.
Nice English style tea room in Penang's Straits Quay. Winter Warmers overlooks the Marina and it is a good place to go for a relaxing chat. They also sell dainty tea room style ceramics, although they may be a a bit pricy.
