What I really love about this place is that the food is fresh and the ingredients are good quality. My friend is gluten and dairy intolerant, and our excellent server, Christine, really took that extra step and made a conscious effort to give him great options that did not leave us hungry! She was always there with a huge smile... More

Had great expectations for this exclusive place despite negative reviews and the reviews were spot on. Food was interesting, different, but nothing to blow your socks off. However, if you want a dark place, hidden away where no one will see you (for a discreet affair) this would be the place. Otherwise, Minneapolis has so many better options with much... More

I am truly embarrassed to admit that I spent $22.00 on one large carrot and great northern beans for my Entrée. The other two people had a fish entrée called grilled Cisco. Some kind of white fish from Duluth, MN. $32.00 each. Closest thing to fish jerky I have ever tasted. I am exaggerating only to the point that it... More

We make it a point to go to TBF when we come to MN. Literally have dreams about their popovers with honey butter. We have always had lovely experiences here. We tend to go during their Sunday meals with a set menu of dishes. So happy to have had another great meal!

the restaurant is very charming, the food is elegantly deliciuose. Provided by local farmer, most ingridient feel so fresh and also the server was very attentive but keep distant and with care. Nice place to have an intimate casual dining but also respectable for a professional dinner.

I was in Minneapolis for a convention and was really excited to eat here on the recommendation of several people. I made a reservation for one, was sat promptly, and then...nothing else happened. I waited for 10 minutes for a server to come to my table, I didn't even have water, and no one did. I altered the host, and... More

Although the Bachelor Farmer is solidly on the expensive side it is well worth the money. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the food and very extensive wine list, the food is a remarkable blend of flavors, and the restaurant pays its employees a living wage with health benefits. If you go on a Sunday, as I did, you will... More

What fun to host a group of 25 people in the unique space upstairs at this awesome restaurant. The afghan room and the intimate room with couches was the perfect place to enjoy cocktails before we share a family style dinner in the other side of the upstairs. Great wine, great food, and great service!

Our party of three ordered 10 dishes and found one to be really great and nine to be very ordinary. The service was efficient but not friendly. You can do much, much better at another restaurant in Minneapolis or St. Paul. We trusted the Tripadvisor rating and can honestly say that this was a rare case in which the crowd... More

First time at the Bachelor Farmer. Location is located in the market district a few blocks from the Twins stadium. Interior mimics a old warehouse with tall ceilings, exposed plumbing and wood beams. Old rustic floors with almost picnic style tables. Very nice atmosphere with a cozy feel. Menu in my opinion was very limited and not for the hardy... More
