First time at Oceanaire and it didn't disappoint. Very cool atmosphere coupled with a unique offerings. We arrived near closing and were pleasantly surprised with the late night happy hour offerings. With the kitchen closing soon we opted for an appetizer dinner of filet mignon sliders, homemade crab cake sliders and perfectly cooked calamari! I loved the fresh relish tray... More

We have always been a supporter of Oceanaire but the last 3 times we have gone-have not been impressed. We went last night for our 31st anniversary. It started out fine, but slowly went down hill. We had reservations for 6:15, we waited 45 minutes for our oysters and nearly 2 hours for our main meal. They brought out cups... More

I work in same building and frequent oceanaire with clients. The experience is always solid. Staff is attentive and the food is regularly solid. THE salads are my go to and although entrees can be pricey for lunch it is a treat and very good. One knock is the size of the tables are small and cluttered with plates and... More

The crab cakes were delicious - but very expensive compared to other good crab cakes. However, the service was top notch and the environment is lovely, so I am sure some of the cost is to enjoy the surroundings. But I really didn't think the food merited the prices charged.

We have been going to Oceanaire for years. It is consistently good over time. Our most recent visit was a business outing for 7 of us. We all arrived at separate times, and each were greeted with drink options within minutes of arrival. We ordered the cold seafood platter and calamari. The seafood platter is always my fav, and I... Went to Oceanaire with a larger work group and don't think I would go out of my way to go back. Nothing stood out as bad, but nothing really stiff out as great either.

The menu bragged of about a dozen oyster specimen from both East and West Coast. The price for each was $4 or you could get a trio sampler for $7 (chefs specimen choice). Other than the trio, no sampler special was offered. I made arrangements to sample one of each. Inspecting the shell characteristics confirmed most are from the origins... More

This was a special birthday dinner for a 12 year old. The staff had a special notation on the menu wishing our group a Happy Birthday! Our waiter couldn't do enough to make our evening special, the seafood was delicious and we had a flaming baked Alaska prepared at our table for the birthday cake which was delicious as well....
