We went for dinner and fortunately had a reservation as very busy on a Friday evening. Our server was excellent although unfortunately I don't remember his name. He was friendly, informative and attentive. We had the tuna poke and oysters for appetizers and they were both exceptional as well as appropriate serving size. For our entrees I had the stuffed... We came here for a business dinner. I went for the swordfish on a bed of diced vegetables but it was really bland. One of our party went for the Alaskan Char which was huge. Pricey.

We went here and were kind of in a rush Going to an event at the Target Center. Nice and close but not on the doorstep you know. This was a good choice for appetizers and drink. affordable and elegant. Service was great and attentive. No worries about time. Good food. The ambience is clean and light filled. Want to... More

Went to Oceanaire last night for a dinner with business associates and customers. We were there for nearly four hours discussing business and such. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. She didn't make us feel like we had to hurry up and leave like most restaurants do. We split the chilled shellfish appetizer with shrimp, mussels, oysters on the... More

Every time I go to Oceanaire I am amazed by the service (thanks Lisa), the food and the hospitality (thanks Bridget). Great spot for lunch or dinner when you are in Minneapolis.

From the moment we walked into the bar, we knew this restaurant was exceptional. Before dinner we had cocktails and a variety of appetizers that were all delicious. (Loved the James Bond martini). My seafood soup w/dinner was especially good as was everything presented. For my birthday, a Baked Alaska, delivered by the Assistant Manager, was torched tableside. Mike says... More

We started with Malpeque oysters. The sauce was very well seasoned with horseradish, and gave a nice boost to the oysters. We shared a crab cake, and it was, again, quite good for mid continent. My husband had surf and turf, I had the simply dressed salmon, and our son had lobster. Everything was cooked well--not overdone. Nothing about their... More

The waiter bragged about the Crabcake, so we ordered that as an appetizer. It was good, but didn't live up to expectations he created with us. He oversold us on how good it was going to be. Everything else was spot on with his recommendations though. We had a large group, service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. I really enjoyed... More

Went here for lunch for a friends birthday. I ordered the Jon Dory Fish with asparagus and mash potatoes. It was very good, not fishy at all just a smaller portion for me. Since it was her birthday we got a free Baked Alaska which was pretty cool. It was good but the cake at the bottom was VERY dense.... More
