Everything about my experience was good to great -- the service, atmosphere, and food quality -- except for one (key) component: my colleague and I got extremely sick after eating here, so sick that we both have taken 2 days off from work. Ordinarily, I...More

They really go all out when it's a special occasion like a birthday. We were there for my son's birthday. Even though I didn't give them much notice, they still managed to print it on the menu and give us a free baked alaska. I...More

My husband took me to Oceanaire to celebrate my birthday. It was the worst restaurant experience we have had in a very long time. A restaurant that is known for their seafood actually had more steaks on their menu then choices of fresh fish! They...More

Had dinner here during restaurant week in Minneapolis. We dined from the set menu and each course was wonderful. The service was 5-Star - ask for Chuck!! Can't wait to go back the next time we are there.

This is as good a fish restaurant as you will find in the Midwest. Great wine list also to compliment your dinner. No question that this is a "five star" for fish.

Wonderful food, excellent wait staff but so loud I could not hear nor talk to the people I had dinner with. It spoiled the experience. Instead of a pleasurable dining experience, I was disappointed.

We have always been a supporter of Oceanaire but the last 3 times we have gone-have not been impressed. We went last night for our 31st anniversary. It started out fine, but slowly went down hill. We had reservations for 6:15, we waited 45 minutes...More

I work in same building and frequent oceanaire with clients. The experience is always solid. Staff is attentive and the food is regularly solid. THE salads are my go to and although entrees can be pricey for lunch it is a treat and very good....More

Would bringing a newborn/infant to this location be inappropriate? My parents want to take us here the next time we are in town, and we will have just had our first child.

I've seen infants, toddlers, children, however you word it, no matter what the age. This place has been known for a nice, expensive place to celebrate, so it's also included large parties with any age children. I'd say it'd... More
