I was impressed by the atmosphere. The building inside and out is truly historic yet clean to today’s standards. The menu options were few. I wish there was another steak option, other than the filet. I would take a look at the menu online before...More

We stayed at the Nicollet Island Inn recently and ate in the dining room and the bar. The views are beautiful, the Inn and restaurant are very quaint and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend.

We have done the "Inn" for several special holidays and have never been disappointed. We have asked specifically for Erin, who is a wonderful server, but everyone has been great. If there is a gap (not likely) Corey, the manager fills in seamlessly. The special...More

Very pretty, romantic place with terrific views of the Mississippi River, which is just outside the windows. Food is pretty good but not great. And it's pricey. You are paying for the experience. If you are looking for terrific food, this is not the place....More

A pleasant place to have a leisurely brunch, the set menu will not break the bank, the food is well presented and the waiting staff are obliging.

I have some mixed feelings about this place. We had an absolutely incredible meal here many years ago, but I’m sure most of the staff has since changed out. The evening we went here this time was OK. **If you go try the scallops with...More

It was a joy eating delicious meals in the company of waiters who were professional, yet unpretentious, helpful in their suggestions, witty and so very pleasant. Truly remarkable experience for dinner that we found repeated for breakfast with different waiter entirely.

We were meeting another couple to catch up for Sunday brunch. We tried the restaurant at the Nicollet Island Inn. The Inn is on the historical register and pretty inside. There was a choice of a 3 or 5 course fixed menu. Everyone found something...More

I agree Business casual, although if you feel like dressing up it would certainly be appropriate.
