This place is wonderful for a weekend brunch. It's casual and they have really great brunch cocktails. Each weekend they have new specials and I suggest trying those, otherwise the regular eggs benedict is great too! On Saturday and Sunday mornings there's usually parking right...More

Everything works: the ambiene, the food, the decor, the service and, of course, the food. Claiming to have the longest bar in the Metro didn't bring us in. The Red Stag was recommended to us by our lunchmates. We were not disappointed. Reservations are encouraged...More

Had dinner with my husband on Friday and it was fab! It was fish fry Friday and I had Bluegill sunfish - when the last time you saw sunfish on a menu? It was delicious and it is served with these giant homemade chips. Also...More

I hadn't been to the Red Stag in over a year, so I wondered if the food was still great. You know how sometimes your memory is better than reality? Not the case here! I was not disappointed in my favorites... Lobster egg salad sandwich...More

We started with the smelt as a shared appetizer that may have been our first mistake. Two of us had the cod fish and chips. Never had small pieces of cod before maybe that is why it was fishy tasting. I think the bones must...More

The food we had was generally quite good. The housemade potato chips are kind of trippy - a gourmet version of a Pringle. Certainly worth a try. My lamb chops were nicely grilled and served over a tasty salad mixture of shaved asparagus, radishes, green...More

We decided to try Red Stag for our anniversary, so we were in a great mood. The staff was friendly. The ambience pleasant ~ it's in a 100+ year old building that's minimally decorated, the brick walls and wood beams provide the charm. They make...More

I have to admit that when my friends said "we have made reservations at the Red Stag" I said "where is that?" Of course I looked at the menu online before going. I don't like getting stuck deciding what to order somewhere new. The menu...More

Over Easter week we ate twice at the Red Stag. The dinner was okay and the breakfast was great. We had the same host twice, who sat us at the same table. A sharp host would have moved us to a different location for a...More

My wife and I went on an impromptu date on a Thursday night. It is a very warm and welcoming the atmosphere at the red stag supper club. The service was friendly but a bit slow and inconsistent. The waitress was very helpful in helping...More

Description
Welcome! The Red Stag Supper club blends old school Wisconsin supper club charm with a passion for delicious, sustainable, farm-to-table food. Located in the "Nordeast" Art District just across the river from downtown, the Red Stag Supper club opened its doors in November 2007 as the first LEED-CI registered restaurant project in Minnesota. We strive to be a good local & world citizens by supporting local farmers, conserving resources & composting waste. Come join us for brunch, lunch or Friday night fish fry. Or just stop by for some late night eats and entertainment. We'd love to have you in! We accept reservations for half of our dining room and leave the other half open for walk-ins (except for holidays like New Years Eve, Valentines Day, Easter Brunch, etc.)
