A fine dining experience with a casual feel. This family run restaurant that opened their doors in November, 2016 is owned and operated by Chef Alan Palenchuk and his wife Vincenza (also known as Vee). A husband and wife team that reside in Georgina and together creating a great team with all their staff, offering excellent quality food & top-notch fine dining service. Chef Alan is a Certified Executive Red Seal Chef for over 25 years bringing all of his food creations to another level. He is always using fresh ingredients, supports local farmers all year round, prepares everything from scratch and every dish is cooked to order. The cuisine is Mediterranean influenced with many dishes to choose from, including gluten free and vegetarian options. They have also won the Readers Choice Award in 2017 & 2018 for Best Fine Dining, Best Atmosphere, Best Dessert, Best Salads & Best Steaks

What an amazing dining experience! We were greeted right away and felt welcomed immediately. The owner greeted us and made us feel welcome , the server went over some of the most ridiculously delicious sounding features. When you think you know what you're having...wait until you hear the features. Unbelievable to have this level of food and experience in our small town. We will be back again Vee!

My brother and sister-in-law flew in from Alberta to help our mother celebrate her 92nd birthday. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated exceptionally well. Although we arrived a little early they seated us right away and our culinary extravaganza began. The service was impeccable from start to finish. All meals arrived quickly and were hot and delicious and arrived as requested. Vee, the owner, took time out of her busy evening to congratulate our mom on her special occasion and to converse with everyone at the table. The servers were also exceptional and were generous with their time without sacrificing other customers. The menu itself has many great selections along with daily specials that will tempt any palette. They all made it a very special evening and we look forward to celebrating other special occasions with them in the future.

A very nice small restaurant, well appointed with friendly staff. Food was very good, although I found the prime rib to be a bit fatty and our definitions of au jus are very different.
As the restaurant is smaller, washroom space is limited to a single occupant at a time per gender and this can create a lineup or frustration when a patron decides to take up residence.

After reading great reviews for The Corner House in Keswick my wife and I decided to try it for our anniversary. Well, we were extremely impressed! Every dish we tried, from the starters to the desserts, was excellent. The serving staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly throughout without imposing on us or making us feel rushed. With COVID, we realize it's important for restaurants to turn over the few tables they are allowed to use quickly to maximize revenue and we were mindful of the time we were spending but at no time were we made to feel rushed. Yes, The Corner House is premium priced but we felt we received full value for our meal. We have been to many great restaurants in the GTA and paid similar prices but I can't say we've ever been as impressed as we were at The Corner House. We will be back to further sample their extensive menu, confident we will once again receive a wonderful meal, served by exceptional staff in a warm and friendly environment.

Thank you for also acknowledging our serving staff. We also want to thank you for understanding how important it is for restaurants to turn over tables as we are at 50% capacity due to the COVID-19 guidelines. We do our absolute best not to rush anyone out and unfortunately we do have time limits at tables now. If we can allow extra time we do so but its not always possible. We are fortunate to have customers like you that understand this.
We are definitely premium priced as you say and we are also happy to hear that you felt you received full value for your meal. Chef Alan makes everything from scratch, uses fresh top ingredients, and cooks everything to order once you arrive.
All of us at The Corner House Bistro are happy to hear that we all played a part in making your anniversary date a great night!! We hope to see you again soon.

We absolutely loved our dinner. Cooked to perfection, outstanding flavours & great presentation The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and have tried the food themselves so can give an honest opinion and they are pleasant. Between the food and service you couldn’t want for any better. The prices are reasonable for the quality and the experience.

During self isolation it is still important to take care of your relationships. My wife and I decided that we would have a date night after the children went to bed. Choosing The Corner House was easy as we have had great experiences there in the past. Knowing they offered delivery and were open for the local residents to continue to enjoy their wonderful food we submitted our order and waited for the return call as instructed on their website. Vee was great by allowing us to substitute a dish for a vegetarian version and the rest was just verification of the overall order and easy payment by credit card.
The food came at the exact time we requested and was hot and fresh as it would be at the restaurant.
Both starters (goat cheese and beet salad, and soup of the day) were fantastic and very flavourful.
The rack of lamb was done beautifully and the boursin mashed potatoes that accompanied it were delicious.
My wife's 4 cheese ravioli with roasted red pepper sauce had layers of flavour which highlighted the skills of the chef.
Dessert was incredible. The chocolate peanut butter crunch cheesecake needs no further description - it's cream cheese and peanut butter with chocolate!!
Value added items like the bread, oil and vinegar, and Parmesan cheese was just another sign of the type of quality establishment this place is.
Overall there was nothing negative at all. They are remaining open to serve their community, so if you can, support them and everyone else who is remaining open for us.
Thank you very much!! We are looking forward to the next time already.

We have been going to the Corner House for the past few years and always enjoy a delicious meal, with friendly service. I have a nut allergy but feel totally safe with their food as the chef takes great care in preparing our meal During the pandemic we have ordered takeout several times including for Christmas Eve. . The food is wonderfully prepared and packaged, and the ordering and pick up is quick and easy. We can't wait for the restaurant to be open again and we are happy to support them during the closure.

Had A great dinner on Valentine's day at the Corner house. My wife and I both had steaks and they were cooked to perfection. The garnishes were very tasty and the meal was served nice and hot. It was a very busy night so it did take a while before we were offered service. Actually waited for 25 min after being seated and we had to request service...must of missed us as people who sat 10min after us already had drinks an appetizer. But after we order everything went smoothly. The home made chocolate peanut butter cheesecake was delicious!

Thank you for taking time to give us a great review. We are so glad to hear that your steaks were cooked to perfection and you enjoyed our homemade chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. The Chef cooks everything to order so it does take some extra time to cook and without an appetizer it does feel much longer. Appetizers are done by our Sous Chef and they do come out a little more quicker then entrees. We apologize that service took longer then regular nights as Valentines is one of the busiest nights of the year. We do hope that you might try us on another night and experience our restaurant at a much different level then these nights. Again we apologize if the server missed you, this was not intentional. Hoping that your next visit with us will be a 5 star experience.

The Corner House is our GO TO spot for a night out with great food, wine and people. Chef Allen is always willing to adjust the meal for my food allergies or dietary needs. A quaint comfortable dining room that treats every customer as a King or Queen!

We are from Pefferlaw and had Toronto friends coming up to take us out for a pre-Christmas celebratory dinner. We chose The Corner House Bistro having never tried it before and impressed by the all the reviews. Our experience was nothing short of excellent. We made reservations via email with a personal response from the owner. What a hidden gem. The restaurant atmosphere, staff, menu and ultimately our meals were incredible. Our friends from Toronto who are regularly dine out were so impressed. The owner took the time to chat with us (we ultimately closed the place). In addition, we learned that they have the licence to "cork and seal" your wine (should you order a bottle) so that you can continue to enjoy it at home. We learned about the journey her and her husband had. So warm and personable. Without hesitation, we would strongly recommend The Corner House Bistro. Thank you for hosting such a wonderful and memorable night for us.

The people were very helpful, for the pick-up I didn't have to get out of my car, The filet mignon was cooked to perfection for the time I arrived home and sat down to enjoy the excellent meal. I am waiting for a knee surgery and mobility is and issue,

Our first visit this evening after recently moving north and looking for good food. The food was amazing, but what made our visit that much more enjoyable was the hospitality. The serving staff were enthusiastic and honest about their recommendations and the owner was a delight! She chatted with us about Georgina and made us feel very welcome.
The ambience is cozy and friendly, with a dress-casual atmosphere. You could dress up or dress casual and you would feel comfortable.
The French onion soup is delicious; not your same old soup but rich and just a perfect size before dinner. The prime rib (available Friday/Saturday) is a must have, and the peppercorn steak was very flavourful. Next time I want to try the crab stuffed shrimp! Neither of us could finish and have leftovers for home. We took dessert to go, not wanting to miss out.
This is going to be our new favourite place, with a lot of different options to choose from.
Highly recommend this restaurant and reservations recommended as it seems to be a local favourite, with good reason. We are thrilled that we don't have to drive south for a lovely dinner out. Compliments to the Chef!

We heard so many awesome reviews about this place so we had to try it.
I can’t say enough to express how absolutely wonderful everything was.
Service outstanding, drinks my goodness then the food OMG. The appetizers were so tasty, portions very generous. Then the mains were out of this world. Steak and prime rib that melts in your mouth. Pasta and fish that was so amazing good. Then dessert and specialty coffees.
Owner comes and greats you like you have known her forever. Staff so attentive and observant who never let our glasses go empty. I would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go again.
We eat out a lot and I can honestly say this is now in my top favorites!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal from the Cornerhouse Bistro, the appetizers were delicious and the entrees were perfect.
Everything was cooked to perfection, one thing that is always done well is the vegetables, crisp, fresh and flavourful.
We have never had a bad meal from the Cornerhouse, it is our go to restaurant for special occasions.
We had the Veal Marsala, and Chicken Fettucine tonight.

We have visited the corner house on many occasions and have never been disappointed. We have hosted large parties as well as just my family and their service is always fantastic. It has a warm family feel with a fine dining experience. We are so happy to have a restaurant of this quality in Keswick, we would drive much further if we had to.
