Friendly place; local gathering place for morning coffee. At a busy intersection with limited parking. Good breakfast menu (I've only been there in the morning). Long-time staff, who know the regulars and banter with them. "Down home" menu. Like the home town folks and food that you grew up with in the north and midwest. You'd like it here.

My husband and I started going to Shar'els a couple of years ago and it's become almost a weekly thing with us. The food is outstanding and the service is unmatched. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. We usually meet my husbands parents for breakfast on Sundays (a really busy time there), but we've been there for lunch as well.... More

Shar'els was recommended by a friend. Once we ate there, we couldn't believe we hadn't heard about this place before. It can be busy so be ready for a 15 minute wait or longer for breakfast. It is worth the wait. The portions are large and the prices moderate for breakfast. I always have leftovers to take home. The service... More

Great place for lunch. Had the chicken mushroom with fries and it was just outstanding. Waitress was full of suggestions and a little spunk, love that. Don't let the shopping center fool you.

We enjoy going to this neighborhood cafe. My husband and I go and we have taken our grandchildren who enjoy playing (the provided) checkers while waiting for our food. Good, quick service and good food -- mostly breakfast for us.

Stopped for breakfast quite early in the morning on a Monday. Good food, good service, lots of meal choices, fast service. What more can u ask for? Seemed to be a lot of regulars, always a good sign. Easy parking, easy access, close to several of the spots I regularly do errands when I'm in the area.

You never know what to expect from a dinner in a populated area. Shar'els Cafe is amazing! The portion sizes are ENORMOUS, the food is made from scratch and you can certainly taste it. The wait time hasn't been long even when we've come on busy weekends. The servers are on pointe! All around small town feel in the city!... More

As a person who's worked in the service industry, I can understand Shar'el's policy of not allowing outside beverages. I find it pretty rude of a customer to bring in coffee from Caribou and expect them to allow you to drink it there. I'm so tired of people who think that they are exempt from the rules. On to the... This restaurant is your typical small town type, Mom and Pop diner. The breakfasts and lunch they make are similar to what would be found on your grandma's table. It's simple, small town and straight forward food. The food they make tastes very good and they knock it out of the park! Prices are very reasonable and has very nice... More
