I love Lingonberry's because of the homemade food, friendly staff, and friendly atmosphere. Now when I am here for business I can stay at the Lingonberry Lodge! It is such a cute, clean, and full of character. So much to love here!

I stopped in this weekend and ordered a chai latte. It was the best one I’ve ever had-would love to know the secret!!!! I will be coming back if in the area again. The menu looked very good too and I was tempted to eat...even though it was only 10am. The desserts looked amazing as well. Will definitely stop by again!!!More

Love that there is a wonderful coffee shop like this in my hometown. I had a chocolate croissant and a simple americano and it was so good. This will be a stop every time I come home now.

I hunt pheasants in western Minnesota, and I love the people and the country. But until last month I would say that cultural diversity might not be the region's defining characteristic. That opinion changed after I discovered the Lingonberry's Pastry and Coffee Shop. An admitted...caffeine addict, I am always delighted to find good coffee shops in out-of-the-way places. Entering the coffee shop on the Main Street in Ortonville, I was struck by the delicious smell of strong coffee, and the taste of the Americano didn't disappoint. But the owner of the place, a delightful woman of Moroccan/American descent, was a special delight. She ran a great coffee shop with incredible coffee and pastry. But more that that, she was amazingly friendly and helpful. She was a great ambassador for Ortonville: giving me tips on where to find good lodging and dining in the area. (I returned there for lunch and had a fantastic egg salad sandwich.) I'll be back for sure, to enjoy the great coffee, pasty, and food; as well as the delightful conversation with the owner. I never would have thought I'd meet a person of Moroccan descent (and a world traveler to boot), in Ortonville, Minnesota! Who said western Minnesota isn't diverse?More

Every time we go we are greeted with a smile!! All the ladies working are so nice. The food is excellent, I love that she makes a different main meal each day. Her sandwiches are very good too. Love the croissant bread for the sandwiches....She has yummy sides from salads to wonderful soups, chips. I love the tomato basil soup but all of them have been very Good, I like soup so that s what I get. Desserts are plentiful, she has something for every taste bud!! Coffee drinks are always consistent love the Smores mocha, she always has a new coffee drink to try too!! This is our go to lunch spot. Oh by the way all her breakfast stuff is great d ont forget the huge caramel rolls!!More

Recommended by our B&B hosts and totally exceeded expectations! Homemade goodness and friendly staff. Wonderful coffees and outstanding selections for sandwiches/soups. CINNAMON ROLLS TO DIE FOR - so good, we came back the next day for more. Would love to clone this place, but then...it would lose its uniqueness. Ortonville and surrounding areas not known as the food capital of anywhere and most places offer bar food. Starbucks not an option for many, many miles around here. Came here 2 out of our 3 mornings in the area and would make a special stop here if Big Stone Lake in the future.More

We were staying on Big Stone Lake for vacation and came across this little gem. They have a great variety of coffee drinks and smoothies to choose from and AMAZING looking deserts and pastries. Everyone loved their drinks and pastries. They have a cute patio...in back, which we took advantage of to enjoy the beautiful morning. I wish we could of grabbed some of the deserts to take back to our cabin, however we were on our way to the State Park. I do know that they have limited lunch specials and they also have a few candles, and things to the effect for sale. The staff was very pleasant. If you are ever in the area, check them out.More
