Cute place I wish I had more time to sit in but took my boring salad to go. Coffee was wonderful and service was good. Could tell there were many locals coming in and I was happy to see a successful local business making it.

Stopped at the Calf Fiend on our way back from the casino. Looked up best restaurants on Yelp and Trip Advisor. The pics of the food at Calf Fiend looked amazing so we went to check it out. The Food was fresh, made from scratch and was heavenly. The coffee was amazing! I had the club which was came on... More

Rarely do I step up and write reviews about a place I've only been to once, but the Calf Fiend Cafe is an exception. Nestled on a quiet street in Redwood Falls, the front of this eclectic little coffee shop and eatery jumped out at me as I drove by. Inside, I grabbed a table around noon so I could... More

My wife and I were in RWF for a wedding shower. Stopped here on Saturday for coffee, the wraps looked great as did the giant muffins. Not only did they look great, they tasted GREAT too! The coffee was excellent! There were 2 pans of baked goods cooling on the counter when we came in. Unfortunately too hot to serve.... More

Great coffee selection hot, cold, and flavored with a great selection of homemade breads, muffins, and pastries. They have homemade soups, sandwiches, wraps, and cookies too!

We were passing through town, driving through Minnesota, when we stopped here for lunch. We had some amazing baked goods, baked fresh that morning, including huge cookies and a muffin. Each member of the family ordered a sandwich, which was on an excellent piece of bread that I can only describe as a slightly less chewy version of ciabatta, with... More

This place was great! A bit eccentric, as the name would suggest. The owner uses coffee beans only from a Duluth roastery, makes his own bread (yum), and composts! He works with local people in order to use local produce in his food. He had some amazing syfy artwork on the wall, also done by a local artist. Definietly worth... More

After a lovely hike in Ramsey Park, we took our hungry selves to The Calf Fiend. The homemade chicken and dumplings soup was just like Mom's, and the sandwiches were huge and yummy (especially lived the dressing and the homemade bread). However, the best part was just being around the happy employees (including the owner) and the customers, some of... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our anniversary trip. When we first walked in, we were greeted by the mascot-- a large statue of a frollicking calf. There was only one other family when we came in, but it was about ten minutes before the lunch rush. We ordered the day's specials; a rueben melt for him... More
