Since we found ourselves in Saint Paul on a Thursday morning we decided to try one of TripAdvisor's top-rated breakfast spots. The reviews were glowing and we were mentally prepared for a wonderful gastronomic experience. Parking is a bit of a struggle in this neighborhood as all the spaces on the street are metered and all were full. After expanding... More

Today wasn't our families first trip to The Buttered Tin. Truth of the matter is, if it was closer to our house, this would be a bi weekly stop for us! Food is out of this world delicious! And the service is fantastic! Today I had the Crab Cakes Benedict & it was lights out! Nice portion & a delicious... More

My first experience with the Buttered Tin was 3 yrs ago while waiting on the Amtrak at the local station. It was so good. It's not close to where I live, so took too long to get back. It's still delicious. The breakfast tacos had a great combination of flavor with the home made chorizo the tops. The Carmel roles... More

We have lived here for a year and a half and have tried many good breakfast/ brunch spots- this place is the best by far! It is always packed and you get what you pay for. But those downsides don't even come close to touching my 5 star rating. The food is phenomenal!!! For our first visit, we split two... More

I was hungry for a late morning breakfast. It was a Friday morning. Apparently on week days, so go up to a counter to place your order, which is brought out to you when ready. If you are looking for a regular breakfast, you won't find it here. The menu is much more eclectic. I saw something that looked somewhat... More

Downtown St Paul and walking distance to Union Depot. Good breakfasts - I recommend the Huevos Rancheros Benedict. Bakery items seem to be the "hot" items at this establishment.

Fine breakfast and bakery, walkable from "downtown" St Paul locations. Something for everyone here..

We ate our body-weight in brunch and then stuffed our fat faces with cupcakes and homemade twinkies and chocolate bread cake. Amaze-balls. Even if you don't like sweets--but especially if you DO like sweets--this little gem of a spot shouldn't be missed!!

We had a very pleasant morning breakfast outing at The Buttered Tin. Food was good, bakery items were amazing and the employees were friendly and helpful. Menu is relatively simple, but creative and pretty diverse. Something for everyone. The only downsides were the size of the facility and the layout. It is a popular place and there isn't a great...
