Went for a late night bite and on the way there was approached by someone asking for some money. Walked into the diner and wasn't greeted and so I just asked if I could sit anywhere which was the case. The place was a bit busy and so I waited a little while before getting my order taken. The chili... More

Mighty Ducks aside, the history behind the diners from the 40's era is pretty neat. It's a step back in time. The food is a complete greasy spoon, but absolutely worth trying out.

I can now cross off eating at Mickey's. It met my expectations -- great greasy breakfast, with a heaping pile of hash browns, colorful cooks and diners, and a dining car showing its age with personality. I now need to go back for lunch.

Old place. Could use a bit of cleaning but this is iconic in St Paul. The staff is rough around the edges but it is worth the stop in one of the best diners in America.

This is a prejudiced review as the owner is a STMA classmate and friend. That out of the way, a great spot for comfort food. Good food. Hot chocolate on a cold winter day is a hit with dad and kids. Great prices.

Food was fine, but so dirty I kept gagging. Everything coated in thick grime. Funny, they could afford security cameras but not a cleaner.

Iconic and Awesome greasy spoon. You must eat here if to not for the old school diner food, but for the rocking pictures you will take standing outside. A foodies bucket list. Eat here .

Beware - the place is tiny - 4 booths and a counter. However, the food is classics greasy spoon - good hot coffee, all day breakfasts - everything hot off the grill. No excuses for anything fancy - just basic, delicious food in generous portions. A St Paul institution for a good reason - don't miss it !

Delicious classic american food in a 1940's atmosphere (with modern conveniences). Eggs a thousand ways. Brown, really browned hash browns. At lunch the burgers are good too.

This really is an old school greasy spoon, complete with greasy spoons. It's open 24 hours and looks like it. The wait staff are quick and helpful if not exactly friendly (intentionally part of the "charm" I think). We had an early breakfast which had the great quality and taste you would expect of the classic diner. Bacon was cooked... More
