The place was packed: Winter Carnival was gearing up and there was an NHL hockey game in town that evening. Fortunately, we were able to be seated right away as they offered us seats along a “bar” at the chef’s station - where you can...More

It’s simply heaven! Minneapolis gets frigid in the winter and this is a perfect comfort meal. They have a great happy hour and top notch service.

I arrived in MSP a few days before Xmas and my family headed to Pazzaluna for a relaxing dinner before all of the holiday excitement started. We started with the mussels - delicious! I had the arugula salad which was great and then the Branzino...More

To echo many of the other reviews...the food was good but not outstanding. The server and hostess were unwelcoming and the server's helper hard working but untrained. After waiting way too long for drink orders to be taken, the salad and entrees arrived on top...More

Always try to schedule an event at the Ordway or Xcel just so we can dine at Pazzaluna! Food has always been good and servers are great. Calamari can't be beat!

It was like pulling teeth to get a table when this place first opened, but things have settled down so it's gotten reasonable to get in. Wonderful menu of Italian fare that goes way beyond meatballs and spaghetti.

I LOVE the food here. Always. But the service is spotty. On one visit, everything was spot on. Another time, my friend and I sat for at least 10 minutes waiting for a server to greet us. When I flagged one down, she admitted that...More

Love Pazzaluna - great Italian food plus an awesome Happy Hour. It has a tendency to get a bit crowded if there is an event going on at Excel Energy Center.

I would think so!! But a vegan meal is customizable, so when you make your reservation, include that very important information!! They can be ready for you and you know your options!

No. Shorts are too casual. You would feel quite underdressed.

We were dressed for the Science Museum, i.e. very casual/shorts. I don't recall feeling out of place or underdressed.

Italy's abundant and diverse food styles are represented and sampled throughout the year at Pazzaluna. The many culinary faces of Italy's distinct regions find their way to Pazzaluna's cucina daily. Seasonal influence is always projected, as are the artisan and craft suppliers that provide Pazzaluna with the best raw-ingredients Mother Nature has to offer. Pazzaluna is proud of its reputation of buying direct from area farmers on some of its most prized items. This style of purchasing is the TRUE ITALIAN TRATTORIA way - using local, regionally grown and produced supplies, reflecting the unique influence of the area as all of the ingredients come together in concert to perform in a dinner experience of a lifetime. To Italians, a meal is more than just food-it's an experience, an event to be shared with family and friends. No where is this more true than at Pazzaluna Urban Italian in Saint Paul, one of the Twin Cities' best Italian restaurants.
