Decent food, good service, good location, nice intimate atmosphere, generous roll sizes, not very pricey.

Great place for a lunch with friends. Super friendly service, good drink choices and well prepared food. Shrimp tempura was wonderful, so we're our sushi choices. Our server did a great job helping us select items that we would enjoy. I want to come back for dinner and try the tepanyaki.
Great food, Great service! They prepared our food right in front of us. Went here with some friends, fun atmosphere, would come again for sure!
The server seemed rushed but did his job, but the "you'll be fine" after asking about gluten was incorrect. There was gluten in something, which I read later on online could be the sushi rice, but I did not have sushi. The fish on my sashimi lunch plate was generous and semi-fresh, but the rice tasted very off, and the... More
Seafood Ramen Soup was delicious. So many large pieces of seafood (salmon, scallop, shrimp & mussels) and vegtables on top of a heap of ramen. Broth was fantastic. By far it is the best deal on the menu. Tasty. The young man that served us, couldnt have been kinder or more attentive. We had to ask for nothing. We had... More
I traditionally celebrate my birthday at Saji-Ya and every year the service, food and ambiance is absolutely terrific! Last night's dinner was no exception. Celebrating on the rooftop patio was lovely and comfortable and the service was outstanding! Our server was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The sushi, edamame and drink selections for Happy Hour were the perfect compliment to... More
The food is pretty good here, everyone else in our group wanted Sushi. The small plates are huge! (For small plates or appetizers.) Edamame normally is sized for two people, this was more than enough for 4. The Tempura Shrimp didn't have that much shrimp on the "small plate" but with all of the vegetables it was practically a full... More
We "bellied up" to the sushi bar and ate like royalty. The salads and sushi were delightful and those creating the delectable nosh were fun to watch. Delicious, friendly, fun!
We visited again and had another outstanding meal. The sushi is outstanding. It's fresh and the cuts are always generous. The rolls have great texture and flavor. The service is prompt and friendly. This is the best sushi in the twin cities.
