This is a unique restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, great Northern Italian food and a bottomless glass of wine. Free wine refills if you order the house white or red.

Ordered a box lunch to go, it was very good and very filling. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, with the side of fruit. The fruit was strawberry slices and red grapes. It also came with a bag of chips and a cookie. The cost was about $12.50. Friendly staff and quick service, but I did order online so that... More

Just introduced new menu items for lunch and dinner. We have tried several and they have all been winners. The steak is fabulous; huge and grilled to perfection. Even the side items are inventive and delicious. I've never been disappointed there. Staff is friendly, location reminds me of European cities where the bistros are located in the neighborhoods rather than... More

I frequently order a pesto sauce that is not on the menu, but they typically make it for me anyway even though I am not enough of a regular to be known by employees. The salads and cookies are also outstanding.

The D'Amico & Sons chain in the Twin Cities is a nice, family owned collection of Italian style delis. Although they are limited in selection, what they do offer are high quality, well--constructed sandwiches. In addition are pasta salads, green salads, soups, pizzas and pasta dishes. The decor is classic white subway tile with Italian accents. Its essentially a high... More

Went here while walking around Summit/Grand Avenues. Been wanting to try it out. It is a deli style restaurant where you see salads inside a glass case a& order off a menu above. Ordered the chicken cranberry salad which was a large portion . The chicken was grilled and cut nice & chunky. I wish I could say the chicken... More

After our last visit, we dropped D'Amico & Sons from our restaurant list because they stopped offering whole wheat pasta with their entrees. So, for the best spaghetti in Minnesota, we now head to Grandma's in Duluth.

This is a place where you order at the counter and they bring your food. I've always liked D'amico, but now they have a great happy hour deal: Monday through Saturday 4-6pm all pizzas are $6 and beers and hard cider are $3. And these are wood-fired pizzas. Save your money when you go to a matinee; don't buy the... More

D'Amico's is always a star for me. Terrific variety of salads, pastas, sandwiches, soups and awesome sweet treats. The takeaway can be dressed up on your own plate at home and it will appear you cooked all day. Fresh food and ingredients. It has become a staple for me.
