My husband and I had dinner here at the recommendation of a hotel clerk. The atmosphere was pleasant and food was excellent. I like the idea that it is not a "chain" restaurant and the log cabin interior gave the restaurant a nice rustic feel. I had a chicken dish and my husband had a steak, which were both wonderful.... Phil's Tara Hideaway was recommended as a great place for our 30th anniversary. The food was excellent as was the log cabin interior. Knowing the tables are closely spaced in advance helped. The service was terrific. We were glad we'd made this choice!

Stopped in for the first time last weekend. I ordered the Texas Sirloin Tri-Tip.... phenomenal! I didn't care much to sit in the front area by the window but the dinner helped me overlook that.

We were celebrating my husband's 40th Birthday. We chose Phil's Tara Hideaway for the intimate setting. This place is always packed for good reason. We were able to grab a drink at the bar while we waited. We were seated within 15 minutes. Great service and meal. I like the supper club feel and wish more places were like this.

We view Phil's Tara as a special occasion type of place, but if you're watching the budget you can get by not spending much more than you would at Applebee's. My wife and I both had the petite sirloin ($16). Not a bad deal since it comes with soup or salad and a side. The menu also contains some sandwiches... More

Tiny little joint. Fantastic food, especially the filet and the gyros. Moderately priced. Rustic decor that is the real deal log cabin. The only downside is that it gets VERY busy and is extremely small with almost no waiting area.

This restaurant has been a favorite for several years, and I just realized I hadn't said anything yet. My need to avoid glutens can be celebrated here, right down to dessert. The staff understands gluten-free and can offer several delicious (and I really mean DELICIOUS) options. I keep coming back and enjoying myself every single time.

Great food, great service, a place where the locals go to eat. We went for my birthday dinner and it was delicious! My neighbors go there all the time.
