Stop here for lots of sodium. Good service but food lacking in any quality. Gift shop but no mugs that we could buy.

We were just there a day ago! Our meal, service and experience here was amazing! Our only regret was that we weren't going to be in the area for a another day or two. If we had been.... we would have definitely eaten there again! Highly recommended!

Loved it. Nothing super fancy but good quality food with local flare. Enjoyed the wild rice pancakes and waffles. Having REAL maple syrup as an option is always a plus for me...I hate "maple flavored" corn syrup! Friendly service, decent coffee. Will try it again!

We've come to the Rustic Inn many times on our trips to the North Shore, always enjoying the food. This time, unlike the past, service was very slow. The drinks and the pies (very delicious pies) were served promptly, but our sandwich order arrived nearly an hour after we arrived at the restaurant. The place had only 5-6 tables filled,... More

This was the first time that we came for dinner, normally we go for breakfast which has always been amazing. This restaurant is well decorated inside and the people are very friendly. The food is very fresh with many healthy options. Try the Reuben with tender chunks of corned beef on cranberry wild rice bread, or the hot beef which... More

I have eaten lunch here in the past and it always has been tasty and with good service. However, this review is about their pies. Along with our friends, we compared the Rustic Inn Café pies with pies from Betty's Pies. The Rustic Inn won, hands down. When you are on the North Shore, check out this place, if you... More

Great menu offers lots of options for anytime of day or night. Delicious homemade pies, yummy wild rice soup, great cold and hot meals.

I have eaten at the Rustic multiple times and each time they wow me! Most recently, they participated with Lake County schools for a fund raiser selling the Rustic's pies. Ours was to die for and I have three great bakers in the family to compare it to! We will be back!

We always look forward to a meal and a piece of pie at The Rustic Inn Cafe. Choose the cranberry walnut bread, its' the best. Service is excellent. The pies are the best on the North Shore, better than "the other place" which is frequented by tourists, not the people who have stopped at The Rustic Inn.
