Let me start by saying that last year's visit was excellent and left us wanting for more; however, I accidentally rated it a "One" by pushing the wrong rating button. Oops!! The Silver Star Saloon and Grill is by far a FIVE with us!! I could hardly wait to get back to indulged in their amazing onion rings. Light, crisp... More

we waited at the bar for over 11 minutes waiting for 4 beers. it wasn't busy and we still can't figure out why 4 senior citizens were treated with so much disrespect. we left never, ever to return.

It was Monday, Presidents Day holiday for lunch. It was rainy and cold and the other very popular Wabasha restaurant (Stacey’s) was unexpectedly closed. I suspect the Silver Star Saloon was busier than expected. Our food took about 45 minutes-an appetizer and soup. The quality was average and reasonably priced. I will try them again the next time I am... More

I have eaten here a half a dozen times or so. The food is always decent to good, but what probably keeps me from stopping more often is that the service always seems slow, no matter how busy it is.I am not local, and for some reason I just don't find the staff overly friendly like some other restaurant/ bars... Stopped in late on a Wednesday after a full day of skiing and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. The boys both had pasta, a little expensive, but the portion and quality was solid. My burger was great and they had a few nice craft beers on tap. We'd go again.

Quaint bar in a quaint town. Great menu with a lot of variety. TVs to watch sports. Good service. We have eaten here often and will definitely return.

Wanted to have a drink and an appetizer so stopped here on my way through, seemed busy with locals. Bloody Mary was ok but the boneless wi gas were over done and a couple were actually burned. I should have sent them back but didn't really have time.

Stopped with our 12 year old son for lunch on a Friday. Great service, great food! Looks like it could be a fun evening stop as well!

My husband & I recently enjoyed lunch here. A staff person at the National Eagle Center recommended this restaurant. The service was quick and the food tasty.

Stopped in for early dinner. We ordered a raspberry vinaigrette chicken salad, a burger, nachos, and the young kids had mini corn dogs. Had Lienies October fest on tap which is very good. All the food was tasty, was all hot and fresh and nice portions so we all got filled up. Restaurant had a bar, tables, booths, 2 big... More
