This is such a great place to browse around. Everything looks unique. We did not eat here but the pizza we saw looked fabulous. We shopped for the butter tarts which are worth every cent you pay for them. This is a great place to...visit during a leisurely drive in the country.More

Love the Rosemont General Store. I hope It will be the same going forward because I just learned that Rose, a key employee is leaving. Rose was a HUGE asset to this establishment. She was friendly, hard working and very accommodating. Also, I know many...other customers felt the same.More

We had the most wonderful dinner thanks to the globe and the rosemont store. The turkey was juicy and flavourful, the vegetables were delicious and authentically homemade, the bread and pies were heavenly. I would thoroughly recommend using their catering for your next holiday event....There was a small mixup with my order and it was handled with so much care and professionalism. This was a fifth time ordering from rgstore and it won’t be the last.More

Lunch with friends. First visit. A very interesting spot. Browse the store! Fresh baked goods plus freezer stocked with take and bake sweet and savoury pies. Shelves are stocked with jams and jellies, mustards etc plus soaps and lotions. Artisan crafts like hand crafted wood...bowls and boards. And then eat the fabulous food, from the menu or daily specials, all made in-house. Super friendly staff make you feel welcome. No rush, answered all questions about ingredients accommodating a food allergy. We really enjoyed and will return again and again.More

Went for a work lunch, food was good, good atmosphere for thawing conversation. Quiche and salad were great and others raved about the sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

This place is a gem, we went twice in one week and ordered different things on the menu, everything was delicious and fresh. So quite and cozy, staff is generally friendly on the most part. Food is on the pricey side but the quality is...there. Baked goods are fresh and mostly made in house. Their country sausage hash is amazing, perch and chips amazing, french fries are fresh cut and seasoned right. butter tarts are delicious. Etc. So far NOT disappointed at all. Looking forward to going again.More

My husband and I ordered coffees and tarts to enjoy in the cafe. We ordered at the front cash as we did not know that the cafe had table service. Because we sat down to enjoy our snack, we were charged $8 for my "apple...blossom", which was essentially an apple tart with extra dough. Our total bill for an Americano, a lukewarm but otherwise good cappucino, a pecan tart and an "apple blossom" was $22, including tax, plus tip. None of the prices were posted with the bakery items.More

The Perch & Fries were delicious and the portion was generous. Light crispy batter in the fish was perfect. Sticky toffee pudding was great to share and the butter tarts are amazing! Nice little area for meals with a lovely view out the back. When...you’re finished you can shop in the little general store filled with all sorts of surprises along with a fantastic bakery section. Something for everyone!More

Great little treasure… With a variety of foods and novelty items for purchase. Many people eat at the Globe restaurant across the street but miss this little treasure. They have frozen pies [raspberry and peach are my favorite] full-size or two person size as well...as frozen main dishes for taking home to heat up. All are locally prepared. The store also has a number of small gift items, some Canadian and others from spots around the world. We did not eat here but we are definitely coming back to try the Wood Stone Pizza. They also have a variety of ice cream. Don’t let the steps at the front door discourage you if you have mobility issues or are a full-time wheelchair user such as myself. There is a ramp at the back and their wheelchair accessible washroom truly is… Large enough for wheelchair and patron as well as grab bars conveniently located.More

Delicious coffee, best in class sour dough bread to take away along with dense and scrumptious peanut butter squares and date squares. Cookies crumbly and sweet. Calories galore.

Stopped here to grab a latte and snack before hitting the road back to Toronto. The lattes were delicious and the strawberry scone I had was enormous, fresh, and one of the best scones I've ever had, frankly. Cute spot inside with an eat-in restaurant,...touristy knick-knacks, and an excellent selection of British goodies.More

I’ve been many times and food and service have always been good. This trip was awful! I wanted to surprise my spouse with “the best quiche I’ve ever tasted” and ended up with the worst! Server gave us the wrong drink order and then forgot...to ring up my spouses meal. Brought one meal out and said “this is all I have”?!? Really?? We ordered 2 meals! How hard is that?! The one that was brought out was barely lukewarm. Had to wait 1/2 hour to get my spouses meal and it was “meh”. Gave us 15% off one meal to make it up to us? Not impressed! Thanx for letting me down on what I thought was going to be a special outing. I won’t be back and I’ll be sure to let my friends and family know.More
