Taranto' is our "go to" lunch restaurant on the coast. Today we had a bowl of gumbo and a 6" fried shrimp po-boy. Both were excellent! We have never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend.

Taranto's is a bit off the beaten path but well worth the effort to find it! The gumbo is some of the best I have ever eaten! The Po Boy sandwiches were great as well. Service was excellent! Nice job!
This local, off the beaten path, gem of a restaurant has it all. Great food, southern charm, reasonable prices and very personable customer service. Highly recommended but plan ahead to avoid long lines. (All the locals know this place)

Just a random decision to stop for lunch at this exit and only one restaurant listed on the sign. It was a short drive and SO worth it. It appeared to be everyone was locals and that's always a good sign. Lunch special for that...More
