OK, we'll admit it - we visited because Morgan Freeman is a part-owner! This club/restaurant has a certain graffiti-filled charm (every surface is covered in graffiti), including the bathrooms. The food is basic, southern-fried, but is excellent. I had never had fried dill pickle slices...More

On our road trip through the south, booked in the stop to the famous Ground Zero Blues Club. We did not know what to expect visiting on a Thursday night. Well- wow! It was a jam night so we heard some amazing talent, not only...More

Wow, Thats all I can say. This place was fabulous. Old building not much to see but once inside it's crazy authentic. Owned by Morgan Freeman the actor and his business partner. Authentic Delta Blues played by local artist and their bands. They offer great...More

Found this by reading reviews on TA. It was a little difficult to locate at night, but when we finally arrived we were welcomed by a glowing neon sign and eclectic decor. It is absolutely nothing fancy, but is a true blues joint. The food...More

This place has made some of the best blues musicians famous. The food is excellent. I highly recommend the fried corn grits and onion rings. The Watermelon mixed drink was very good too. The music is the best part about it.

The service, every time I went in, was terrible. I mean an hour and a half plus to get food. That's ridiculous. The waitresses were always nowhere in sight, or running around like crazy trying to take care of too many tables. The food is...More

Live music was fantastic. Superb musicians, and you should definitely go for that. But… I hadn’t expected the place to be such an absolute rubbish tip, it was like a junk yard, and none too clean. Quite scary. Food was inedible, so salty. Deep fried...More

We called in to Ground Zero Blues Club for afternoon tea. What a great place. Very deceiving from the outside. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. Would have loved to return in the evening to see a band play.
