Nice venue. Been here three times and the featured band on Thursday has been very weak. Friday is better. Food is okay. I stayed in one of the rooms above the club and that was fun.

Lots of fun! Didn't hear the music but could feel the vibe nontheless. Had a delicious lunch and great people watching. Making plans to return and stay in one of the upstairs rooms.

Went for lunch and the fried green tomatoes were some of the best I've ever had - done right - dredged in cornmeal, not a heavy batter. I had a sampler platter which had fried green tomatoes, potato skins, wings - plenty of great things to order

So if you are reading this you know Clarksdale is the storied birthplace of the blues. GZ usually has music, the food is Mississippi style pub food, the beer selection is good even for us from Oregon. We spent a long day driving from Nachez through Vicksburg to get in at 9 but revived with hours of blues. This should... More

Waited to eat until 7:45 so we would be there when the 8:00 music started. $5 cover for the band. I have to say all of the musicians were excellent. There was some great talent. Very entertaining and a good cross section of variety. The service was very good as far as the restaurant goes. We got some appetizers and... More

My wife and I visited GZBC during a road trip from Memphis to New Orleans. We had a great time and the only things stopping me from giving it five stars is the fact that the food was decent but not great and the place was quiet, presumably due to the time of the year, and so the atmosphere was... From the staff to the entertainment, you can't go wrong here. This is without a doubt my favorite place in Clarksdale. I wish the menu was more expansive. There are plenty of good choices but, sometimes you want a little more. I would like to see steaks or chops added to the menu. The fried green tomatoes are killer, as... More

you have to try the fried green tomato and bacon sandwich. another absolute must try is the fried grits. And their get back sauce is amazing...my favorite food group, southern comfort/soul food.

Not what a Juke Joint would be. It felt like a commercial sports bar minus the large screen TVs and in their place a band, which to be honest wasn't the best and didn't help the atmosphere . Only stayed for the one drink. Not overly welcoming, for such a friendly part of the USA.
