Best BBQ in Mississippi. I travel for work and have stopped all over the south for BBQ, and Leatha's is so much better than anyone else. Highly recommended their pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and pecan pie.

From the very first bite it's as though you're having a dream of BBQ Bliss. I've never seen ribs fall off the bone as easily as I did at Leatha's. Same with the chicken. Kids meals are reasonably priced and just a fun atmosphere for family. This is worth a trip if you are anywhere close to Hattiesburg. I can't... More

Letha's BBQ is off the chain ! You are talking about BBQ that falls off the bone good! It's a place to go and get and have a blast looking at the old pictures on the wall. Awesome service, great prices for the amount of food that you are served. The Swet is the best around! Overall this establishment is... More

I have traveled all over the country and leatha's is home to the best bbq you will find anywhere. Anytime I have an out of time guest I take them to leatha's and they agree that it's the best.

I paid a significant price to stay over and extra night to eat here because of the recommendations. The restaurant environment is rustic, but it is fine and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the food was ok. I completely agree Steve A. and Jim L. whose October '15 and September '15 reviews are spot on. I... More

Always a great restaurant experience. I always try to come here about once a month. Great takeout too. They have tailgate packages available that feed our group nicely.

This restaurant is a locally owned family restaurant and has been featured on the Food Network. The building itself is a holdout from generations ago that let the world advance around it. I'm sure it was in the middle of the woods at one time. The barbeque was tasty and very tender. The sides, I believe are unique to this... More

Worth the trouble to find -- the ribs are unbelievable, meaty and falling off the bone. The slaw and beans are sweet but great. It's about 3 miles west of Hattiesburg on US 98, next to a dairy queen. Don't let the outside fool you -- it may look like an abandoned country store, but inside the food is great... More
