Popped in for an early dinner. Homemade Cottage Pie was delicious as was the Dorset Apple cake. Well worth a visit.

Thank you for your review of our pub. We’re sorry that your food wasn’t perfect on the day. We’ve not had any complaints about the pies before but appreciate the feedback and will work to ensure that they are all a bit more evenly filled....More

Saw a sign on the A35 and went for drink and a snack. The welcome was good and I chose a local beer, with a tandoori chicken both good. Well worth breaking your journey.

Found this by chance and what a gem. Hidden in a little village, off the beaten track but the signage off the A35 is working. Had a wonderful snack, BLT and fries for me and a ham/cheese toastie for hubby. Wanted the Eton Mess that...More

Great little community pub that would not exist if it wasn't for the village, these places don't have to exist in the world we live in, but thank goodness they do. They provide a service for the village and passing trade. The new inn will...More

Windy narrow roads get you to this place, not far from Bridport. Small car park. But dogs welcomed in bar area, with full menu available. Sunday lunch roast was good and plentiful, although space in the bar area was a little limited (too popular!). We...More

I visited this pub when it was run by the most cantankerous, miserable, personality vacuum of a woman I've ever had the misfortune to meet. However, I returned to visit now the new folk are running it... what a change!! Great atmosphere, lovely food and...More
