Very nice waitress. Has a lot of character. The food was not that great, but maybe we came on an off day. The ice cream and atmosphere was worth it.

Tara's is a nice place all in all, but when I go it's for the atmosphere, the nostalgia of days passed. I go here a couple times every year or so and it stays pretty constant. Honestly, the food is ok and the service is ok, but I love the atmosphere. All in all a very pleasant time.

Went for lunch - best double cheeseburger ever!!! Staff very friendly, atmosphere nice and relaxing. Also enjoyed an order of onion rings - very delicious. I was so full but would like to try a strawberry milkshake sometime!

A quaint and long-serving cafe. This is "where everybody knows your name," but they are also welcoming to new people who stop in for Cruise Night or who are just passing through. They have all of the old-fashioned iced cream and soda treats you've heard about 50 years ago.

We weren't sure what to expect, but we went in with open minds. We were not disappointed, a good Old fashion malt shop. The burgers were good and the service was friendly.

Very limited breakfast menu, staff were okay. Small dining area with no atmosphere, just a quick meal. We were hoping for small town cafe feel but got the "out-of-towner" feel and nothing special. Food was okay for breakfast.

If you are looking for a sinfully good burger at a good price, this is the place for you. The service is wonderful and the customers are treated like family.

We walked in and ordered malts... they were terrible. The ice cream was old and tasted freezer burned and the malt was liquid, not powder and was disgusting. We won't even eat there b/c everything is yellowed from cigarette smoke and that is all you smell. We walked out smelling like an ash tray and we were there maybe 10-15... More

Everything about this place is average. They serve simple sandwiches and deep fried sides. Prices are okay as is the ice cream. With being a malt shop I would expect that the desserts would be a little better than they are. The place has tons of potential but just falls short in every way.
