We turned up at about 2ish on Sunday and we managed to nab ourselves a table outside. The menu looked great, good choice for everyone and the roasts sounded good. We had 2 beef roasts and a pork roast. When they came out they were HUGE and there was 4 different types of veg which was very fresh. This is... More

Went for a meal with family (4 of us). Arrived at about 12.15 on a Saturday expecting a BBQ option as that's what we'd been told when we called. Not to be as apparently there was 'some work going on'. Anyway we ordered off the set lunch menu instead. What ruined our experience was that 2 of our party ordered... More

Stopped on chance after a day out with friends. Really friendly attentive staff who quickly sorted a table for us. The menu is small but we would recommend the fish n chips or the burger. Would return !

We have been here a number of times now and have never been dissapointed by the quality of the food. The type of food is not fine dinning but quality cooked pub fare. You have the choice of sitting in the restaurant or the bar area. The restaurant is usually very busy and a bit noisy for us so we... More

After walking down the strawberry line we popped in for a round of drinks. Beautifully done pub and garden area. Good range of ales and soft drinks, include elderflower which is always a winner with me. Service was good.

Well what can I say, we booked a table for this evening and when we arrived we were the first in the restaurant. It was beautifully laid out and I have to praise Charlie our waiter! He was so polite, well informative and checked that everything was ok all throughout our meal! A few of us ordered starters and then... More

We had a flying visit to try a flight of cider on the way to the airport with a German visitor. The location is beautiful and the refurbishment excellent. Clean and tidy but it was very busy. Sat outside and tried the traditional, haze and old rascal and very much enjoyed the 1/3 pint each for £5. Nice way to... More

A great pub just a few miles from jct 22. A friendly welcome, nice bar snacks, and a proper restaurant section. Lots of lovely Thatchers ciders to enjoy. The bar snacks we had were lovely and hot, on hot plates, good sized portions, and well cooked. The whole place looks newly refurbished, great Loo's, overall very good.
