Slow service, half of items on menu not available, 50 degrees outside and inside dining not open. At 7pm they ran out of gravy, stick to the better restaurants of Branson!

We visited in late November so sitting outside to enjoy the view of Table Rock Lake, which is probably this restaurant's greatest asset, was not an option. The combination of German food and pizza is a bit strange. We tried the German food but the...More
Microwaved or reheated food is what seems to be on the menu here, with prices that should match "freshly made". There are far too may good places in the area, that one shouldn't waste their money here. You can literally hear the microwave from your...More
Overlooking Table Rock Lake, nice view. Pizza was Homemade and full of the goodies! Visited with owner who was a delightful woman. Server was excellent. Had made apple strudel that day and it looked great but we were too full for any. German menu looked...More

Altenhof Inn is a very small venue but has an outstanding view overlooking Table Rock lake. Great place to sit and watch the sunset and enjoy drinks and a pizza. Very reasonable priced.
We had a good meal here last fall (2016). On Fri, 8/25/17 we were very disappointed. On our suggestion we went with 3 other couples. We were all disappointed with our meals. I asked for water, only bottled water (which you are charged for) is...More
The waitresses run like there is no tomorrow but they are clearly understaffed. This was a Saturday end of July, the busiest time of the year I guess and there where only 2 people for about 20 tables. But the food... My husband asked for...More
Only outdoor seating was available, and the ugly, peeling brown deck should have been our first clue. It was a warm evening and we asked for water. Bottled water was brought and later we were charged for it. Our friend asked for a glass for...More
