Great place to take customers out. We were able to speak nicely without much noise around. Food was delicious and worth the overall cost.

Reservation was made and we waited for 6 minutes while table was getting cleaned. Joshua, was our waiter and did a great job, not pushy, but timed everything just right. Drinks followed by menus a little later. Great selection of both red and white wines...More

I dine at Cafe Napoli fairly regularly and the food is consistently very good. The tilapia is always prepared with just the right amount of seasoning and sauce, and cooked to a soft yet firm consistency. The gluten free pasta is tasty. Good variety of...More

Although the food is average, Cafe Napoli is the place to be for late night drinks and dinner. It is fun people watching as the high-end 20 & 30-somethings begin to stroll in about 9p. Great outside dining when the weather is nice.

The food is amazing. Do not miss the cioppino! Best I've ever had. Service is flawless. Solo for lunch today, business in the wine room Monday night. Tony's passion for his business is evident every second you are on property.

When Tony Pietoso opened the original Cafe Napoli in the '80s, it quickly became a success. So Successful, in fact, that it moved to a bigger location at 7754 Forsyth Blvd. The restaurant continued to flourish with its generous portions of regional Italian specialties. Cafe Napoli has recently undergone a facelift and has added Bar Napoli next door. The swank cocktail lounge has soft lighting and a separate wine room that can accommodate 30 diners. The kitchen is headed by chef Jeff Davis, who has been with the restaurant for several years. Fortunato Pietoso, Tony's brother, has also returned to the kitchen. Tony makes rounds chatting with customers, many of whom appear to be on a first-name basis with him. The sons Ande and Kye split their time between the Bar and Cafe, as they are being groomed to take over the family business. Cafe Napoli is a must visit when in the St. Louis area. Some guests include Tony Bennett, Gloria Estefen, Joe Torre and Arnold Palmer to name a few.
