Definitely get the catfish! This quaint restaurant offers a French CaJun twist on their menu. I totally enjoyed the ambience. They usually have a solo musician or up to a 3 piece band playing music. Their selections of beer on tap is good. Although the location is in a strip mall, it doesn't affect the food or the environment once... More

You can't go wrong here. Food is always good and servers are friendly. If you're there on a Friday or Saturday evening arrive a little early because they draw a crowd. Definitely worth the wait!

This is a regular for my husband and I when we take date lunches or even date night dinners. Love the food! Two favorites would be the catfish po boy and the BBQ shrimp. Great little hole in the wall!!

Good Gumbo, especially considering the distance to Cajun Country. Excellent fresh salad, all washed down with a cold draft. Excellent wait staff, friendly and personable. What you'd expect from an interesting area like Festus.

The food was great and the portions sizes were appropriate for the price. If I was down this way more I would come back. I had the crayfish etofee, it was a thinner broth than normal but still good.

Taytro's is a small little bistro/pub with a cajun and italian menu. The employees are all friendly, polite and good at their jobs. The food is fresh and tasty. The prices are moderate. It's not New Orleans or Lake Charles food but it's as close as we have found since the little gas station place in Dardienne Prairie moved &... More
