I went here with my kids for a late lunch. We all had a rib eye taco, they both had chorizo tacos and I also had an arracherra taco. When they finally arrived at our table, they were simply meat - lots of it - on tortillas. No vegetables at all. They do bring the tiniest amount of grilled onions... More

The tacos hear have lots of meat on a small tortilla and all there was on the taco was meat no veg. They brought out a plate with stuff to put on the tacos but they didn't bring any vegetables. I personally think that it is the chefs job to put all the toppings INCLUDING VEGETABLES. Plus it took a... More

We ate here a couple of times and had shrimp itacate's both times, they are excellent. It's a popular and busy place and you might have to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait. Friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced.

El Itacate is just a street counter with table service at the few tables on the sidewalk in front. You are literally part of the street scene. However, the Itacate style taco is outstanding. Instead of a flour or corn tortilla, tacos are wrapped in a thin layer of fried cheese. These are not for the calorie conscious, but they... More

The tacos had generous portions of meat. Service was good. 220 pesos for 4 tacos and 2 beers, great value.

Exceptional guacamole. Hands down the best we've had so far in Sayulita. The give you huge portions of meat on your tacos. The chorizo and the shrimp were our favourite! We will be back... tonight :)

Unassuming place on the street. Fast, fun service with great people watching. Had the Mahi Mahi and shrimp tacos which were fantastic. Guacamole is a must try.

If you are hungry, try not to go on peak hours for meal. The best dish is "quesadilla de Jamaica" and "aguas frescas" taste really good.

Granted, we were VERY HUNGRY. But these tacos were to die for. Stick with the tacos for sure. We each had 2, which actually felt more like 4 because we split them into two tortillas. Definitely try the pepper/shrimp one - it was the best. And the topping/salsa spread was extensive. We especially loved the grilled onions in individual foil... More

yummmmm. We had a bit of a wait for a table but was worth it! So delish! Anything involving the fried cheese is off the charts!
