Ducked in here after visiting the Richmond Gaol. Fantastic spot for a cafe. It was quite busy but was served very quickly. Quite a good range of pies, although my Shepherds Pie was a little average. Prices were good so I can't complain.

I had a pie which was just as a steak pie should be - hot and flakey and meaty! I also treated myself to a mini rapberry tart and treat is indeed the word! DELICIOUS little package right there.

We always seek out the local bakeries on our travels and are seldom disappointed. Richmond Bakery has plenty of seating and the service is efficient. Cakes and pastries were delicious. Great place to have a break and refuel.

The coffee is great, the pies and sausage rolls were straight out of the oven. Great food selection. Nice outside area to sit at with lots of tables. Inside is nice too in case it's raining. Despite the crowd everyone was served quite speedily.

Gee they were busy at 2.30. Late lunch crowd. Obviously used to crowds though. Has a bit of a cafeteria feel to it. Pie was excellent - full of meat and pastry good. Coffee was good.

Food was fresh and very tasty, we brought take away and walked down to the Richmond bridge to sit on the river bank and enjoy. Brought some day old bread for $1 to feed the ducks.
