I thought the menu was basic and the service was not great. We waited 15 minutes for a table, which was no problem because it was a fairly busy weekend night and we didn't have reservations. However, the waitress took another 20 minutes to even take our drink order, even though she walked by and bumped into my chair several... More

Decent sushi place located right in the Power & Light district, have been here multiple times for both lunch and dinner. The place can get fairly packed at dinner-time so reservations are definitely recommended. For lunch, the place is quick and can get you in and out in under an hour. The gyoza have always been solid, and the edamame... More

Not a big sushi fan but this place was next to the theater so we decided to give it a try. The staff could not have been more helpful with their recommendations and guidance on helping me decide what to order. Even the Manager, Matt, stopped by twice to check on us. The presentation of the food was very nice... More

Nice selection of standard and signature rolls. I had the sushi and sashimi combo and it was a great variety. Lobster spring rolls were out after the waitress talked us into ordering them. No problem because the panko breaded calamari planks were the best I have ever had this far from the ocean.

We love the Drunken Fish in Kansas City Power and Light District. Lighting is dim for ambiance. Service is good and sushi is delicious. Reservations are not required, but recommended. It is within easy walking to events at the Sprint Center. Be sure to leave plenty of time to find parking.

Drunken Fish was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! The waitress was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and made AWESOME recommendations for a first time visit! The lobster spring roll appetizers were on point! The sushi rolls were the freshest I've ever had! Will most definitely be back next time I'm in KC!!!

Good sushi, in a downtown setting close to the sprint center. Attentive waiter always helps. Plenty of business people in here grabbing lunch. Recommend the classic roll set and green tea.

What a delightful surprise to find this gem of a restaurant on downtown KCMO in the middle of Power and Light District and right on the new streetcar path. Highly recommend spicy salmon rolls and saki

We planned to have dinner here before attending the US Figure Skating Championship Women's Free Skate and it was still restaurant week in KCMO so they were busy. We had reservations so we were seated immediately. We decided on the restaurant week special and were not disappointed. Actually we ordered an additional Lobster Roll which was completely unnecessary- just too... More

The sushi was great. Our service was pretty good as well. The only complaint we had was that when waiting for our table, the hostess input the phone number wrong. We ended up waiting a very, very long time for a table, and didn't get one until we went back to ask about it.
