This little place is halfway between Queenstown and Te Anau and a convenient place to stop. Coffee was okay and we enjoyed the carrot cake but not the banana cake. Kitchen serves cooked food until about 3pm

Visited today 27/01/17. Didn't eat although the food looked delicious. Stopped for the hot chocolate. Absolutely delicious. One of the best I have had ever!

We stopped here for mid-morning break during our two-week coach tour of new Zealand. The coffee was wonderful. It also had feature some good artwork, and a nice little gift shop with some local crafts.

Dear Madam/Sir, RE: Five Rivers Cafe on way to Queenstown comes as a welcome relief to the motorists. They can stopover for a quick bite or a drink. Located by the farm side the magnificent Lama was spotted. A good number of designer fancy items such as bracelet is available. Thank you

Nice little roadside cafe that offers good coffee and nice lunches. The cafe was very clean and spacious and had a nice atmosphere. The service was very good as was the quality of the food. They offer a nice selection of breakfasts and lunches. I would stop there again.

Great food, huge portion. Such a busy cafe so be prepared for a little wait. Orb coffee which makes great coffee. There are animals and outside seating and plenty of parking

Ideal for a stop. We had lunch here. Chowder was simply great. Even better than san francisco. Average service but nice place and average prices.

We stopped here on our way to Te Anau/Milford Sound and liked it so much we did the same on the trip back to Queenstown. It's a quirky little place which has been nicely designed, sort of arty, shabby chic with a good fire going indoors and a nice grassed outside area to sit as well if the weather is... More
