Went with family and friends. Service very poor. No personality. Food luke warm. Found hair in food and was still charged for meal. Don't waste your time with this place. So not worth it.

Had never visited Mexicali Blues before. had always seen it on the road, but heard from a friend that the food was good, and decided to give it a try. Food was great- large portions at a very reasonable cost. We were lucky enough to visit on Taco Tuesday- a great value!

We didn't think our food or service was very "Mexican" and by that we mean the food was not as good as your average Mexican place and the wait staff was not as attentive as we expect in a true Mexican restaurant. The dominant taste of the salsa was "sweet" and the dominant taste of the fajitas was burnt. No... More

If you are expecting authentic Mexican, friendly staff or management, or good food- forget it! Everything seemed canned and re- heated. The staff was rude, including management/owners. We have been coming to Lake of the Ozarks and have lived here off and on for several years. This is one of the last places I would recommend, except maybe for taco... More

We have been here 2 times now and they have great tacos. Tuesday is Taco day and the taco's are $1.00 each. The salsa is really good and the Queso cheese dip is fantastic.

We always go to Mexicali Blues on Tuesday for their famous Taco Tuesday. This place never changes. The Tacos and salsa are terrific and the beer is cold. The service is consistently poor. I have never had a "hi" or "thank you". The staff seems to be in pain. I guess they are not fans of big crowds and a... More

Stopped here on a recent trip through Lake Ozark. Food was reasonably priced but slightly on the bland side. Ample portions.

Got there just before a large group that was in our severs area. Didn't matter, he was still able to do a very good job. Food was good, portions were very big! I liked it that for a bean choice we weren't limited to the terrible mess also known as Refried Beans. The wife had the Seafood Enchilada & I... More

The food here is delicious. One con.......our waitress was very talkative, too overbearing and she kept on touching our food/drinks. Disgusting! We heard her tell the table next to us about her husband's health problems.......customers don't want to hear about things like that. The margaritas she recommended was really good though! More then likely we will try it again.
