Did an order for pick up over the phone. Two different chicken dinners and 2 different appetizers. Was told 25 minutes and gave name. When to pick it up the woman behind the counter ran outside up and down the street of South Grand came back and said sorry I gave your order to someone else. Their order was supposedly... More

The Chinese food is pretty standard, nothing I haven't had elsewhere. What brings me back is the bakery items, and I've been going for them for years. Bao with BBQ pork inside is my favorite. Sweetened bean paste pastries, walnut cookies, buns with egg and ham and chive, buns with hotdog are all very tasty. Steamed BBQ pork buns also... More

The service was a little slow. My sister-in-law had to walk over and get the menus for us to look at, but he food was delicious, and reasonably priced. I also bought some items in the bakery to take home which were delicious.

This is a combination restaurant and bakery that is hard to beat! They serve authentic Chinese cuisine and not that Americanized carryout stuff. The food is fresh and served in a slow manner, so that each course is served hot and tasty. The bakery section is a rare wonder in St. Louis. The baked goods have a lot of flavor!

Came here with a friend to order some take out after hearing several good recommendations from friends. If only they would've told me that the food was good several years prior to now. I will say that we ordered fairly simple and basic dishes so maybe they have others that are more complex. I ordered the lo mein and he... More

Another great Dim Sum restaurant on Olive Boulevard. The servers are mostly easy with whom to communicate. There aren't many offerings, but the ones available are delicious and generous. The vegetable dishes and rice are outstanding!

This is one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants. Reasonably priced and real Chinese flavors. We had pot-stickers, crispy-skin roast pork and char siu pork, beef lo mein and chicken and vegetables. Food was quite satisfying and flavorful. Never felt rushed and server was charming. If you want authentic Chinese flavors; I'll recommend this restaurant.

We tried to order pan fried noodles but the waitress did not understand or know what we were talking about. A couple of years prior, we had pan fried noodles. The orange chicken was swimming in gravy that was too sour. The chicken meat was dry. The roast pork was dry too. We didn't get any dipping sauce for it... More

We just moved to the South Grand/Fox Park area. We've gone to Lu Lu's Seafood and Royal Chinese Barbecue over on Olive for years, driving from Edwardsville, IL. Wei Hong compares pretty favorably with these two places, and has the advantage of being close by. Many choices, authentic food, friendly service. And on the way out, check out the Chinese... More
