Recommended by our children. Have not eaten here before, but what a great find in this city. This is a nicely done ethnic restaurant, with great ambience. Nice change from barbeque which is ubiquitous in this city. Good choices, and all of the entrees were excellent. Very good staff. We will return here for sure.

Peruvian, nice traditional restaurant with a nice Bar, not your every day restaurant.. Traditional in a way of white Table cloth, china and silverware. Full service Bar, dining a the Bar is an option. Nice sort of classic atmosphere, excellent friendly and attentive service. Enjoyed Chicken, Fish and Rice dish, all very good and tasty. Good Wine selection, also a... More

This place had some of the best food I have ever had. The drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was excellent as well. The food was unique but tasty. The service was great as well. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and if I return to St. Louis, I will go back to this place for... More

Mangoes is a Peruvian restaurant with a smart atmosphere and delicious food. We stopped here for lunch whilst out and about in St. Louis. I had the ají de guillina and my partner had the parilla de pollo sandwich. Tasty! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating and the food prices were excellent.

Made reservations online. The place was quiet when I arrived at 6pm. Staff was very friendly, but could have been more attentive (clearing plates, refilling drinks, etc.) I had some lovely corn tortillas as an appetizer, and seared fish with onions and rice for the main course. Those courses were both fine, but the dessert was really what made the... More

My dear friend and I love dining at Mango. She is part Peruvian and appreciates that the food is authentic. The space is very nice with large windows and high ceilings. The service is attentive and professional. We never felt rushed and had a wonderful time. To start try the Ceviche de Pescado and sweet plaintains with a Pisco Sour... More

This restaurant in downtown St Louis is an upmarket and chic place with courteous and great service. There is attention to detail especially for clients with food intolerances and dietary restrictions. Flavors and dips are both interesting and taste-worthy. The skewered chicken were perfectly done, the beef tenderloin had the distinct flavors of a good Peruvian spice mix, and the... More

Came here as a treat for my daughter and 6 of her Wash U. friends. The menu is pretty authentic, according to one of the students who is 1/2 Peruvian. The food was tasty (at least to me - first go around with Peruvian food) with the minor exception of one of the 'small plates', the empanadas. I enjoyed my... More

Not your ordinary St. Louis food, good food with Peruvian slant. Kind of off the beaten path, but close to downtown locations. Recommend for an interesting change of pace.
