Wow! This place was fantastic! Makes my mouth water reflecting on our experience. We started out with the Ceviche de Pescado. I chose the Aji de Gallina. It was chicken, potato, and walnuts in a creme sauce served with a side of white rice. Flavorful, spicey and nutty. My husband selected the Pescada ala Chorrillana. It was fish with a... More

Dinner with coworker during a business trip. Great portions and a wonderful mix of peruvian tapas and mains to choose from. The chips & salsa are a must, and the seafood dishes we ordered and split were great. Prices were appropriate given the part of town we were in

My wife is Peruvian. Every time we come through St. Louis she demands that I take her to Mango. She misses authentic Peruvian dishes--the comfort food her mom makes. Mango scratches that itch. She frequently gets the lomo saltado. If you're gringo and want to eat at Mango but not sure what to order, try the lomo saltado. It's beef... More

As others have said, this is a great find, serving unusual cuisine in a very nice, open setting. Based on reviewers' recommendations, we started out with the Ceviche de Pescado, which was prepared with freshwater fish tonight. It was very good and tangy, although the citrus and onions somewhat overpowered the fish. Surprisingly, the yam(?) in the ceviche was a... More

This is the only place I'll order Ceviche (de pescado) There is enough to share. A little pricey - but worth it!

Recommended by our children. Have not eaten here before, but what a great find in this city. This is a nicely done ethnic restaurant, with great ambience. Nice change from barbeque which is ubiquitous in this city. Good choices, and all of the entrees were excellent. Very good staff. We will return here for sure.

Peruvian, nice traditional restaurant with a nice Bar, not your every day restaurant.. Traditional in a way of white Table cloth, china and silverware. Full service Bar, dining a the Bar is an option. Nice sort of classic atmosphere, excellent friendly and attentive service. Enjoyed Chicken, Fish and Rice dish, all very good and tasty. Good Wine selection, also a... More

This place had some of the best food I have ever had. The drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was excellent as well. The food was unique but tasty. The service was great as well. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and if I return to St. Louis, I will go back to this place for... More

Mangoes is a Peruvian restaurant with a smart atmosphere and delicious food. We stopped here for lunch whilst out and about in St. Louis. I had the ají de guillina and my partner had the parilla de pollo sandwich. Tasty! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating and the food prices were excellent.

Made reservations online. The place was quiet when I arrived at 6pm. Staff was very friendly, but could have been more attentive (clearing plates, refilling drinks, etc.) I had some lovely corn tortillas as an appetizer, and seared fish with onions and rice for the main course. Those courses were both fine, but the dessert was really what made the... More
