My wife and myself were there on 🎤 night very entertaining alot of great people including the waitresses Ashley and I believe it was Laura she had work there for a min, but that night was her first as a server. Both were great servers,...even though we got the wrong food, Ashley came 🏃♂️ over to make sure no one had a food allergy cause she has strawberry allergy. But great time was had. We spent the night at the similarly named hotel, and they pointed us in this direction. My burger was excellent, and my companion enjoyed her huge salad with steak added. The service was very friendly and on point. The only thing that marred the evening...was one of the many TVs, most showing sports, was instead showing Fox News, and we had to see Tucker Carlson's face for close to an hour. Called in an order for wings at 7:01pm, was told it would be about 30 minutes. I arrived there to pick up my order at 7:35pm, I paid for my order and was told it was almost done and that they had a large party...come in. Not sure what that had to do with my order. So I waited for another 25 minutes then someone else approached me and asked if I had been help, I stated yes and asked if she could check on my order since it had been an over an hour since I called it in. Come to find out my order had been sitting there on the counter the entire time. Not only did I have to wait over and hour for my food, but when I got it home it was cold. Worse Valentine’s Day My husband and I decided to try something new and we went here for our Valentine’s Day it seem great when we got there but it wasn’t long. Our drinks took for ever cause they didn’t have Ginger Beer for our mules....Our waitress said my dinner came with a salad that I never got. My husband order the Valentine’s Special that was a 3 course meal he got his entry but that was it. After over an hour he never got his steak 🥩. The manager Gina was horrible she never came to apologize but went to other tables cause she knew what was going on. And she new because she stop by our table to pick put my empty plate. It wasn’t till she saw as walking out and asking our waitress for the number to place our complain that she acknowledged us when she ask our waitress what was going, acting like she didn’t already knew. Our waitress said his stake was done and she could box it up for us to take home but instead Gina wanted to offer us a voucher to come back. I will make sure that people know how horrible her service was. Because she doesn’t have any customer service knowledge to be in the position she is on. How many restaurants can you go to where you discover high quality food at low prices served by a friendly wait staff? Z Bar & Grill fits this description. We sat at the bar for dinner on a Saturday night in October and were served...by a friendly young bartender. She timed the service perfectly and was attentive without being intrusive. Z Bar has a nice selection of draft and bottled beer and a menu with lots of interesting quality items. I had a Sam Adams Octoberfest beer along with my chicken wings, salad, and chili. All were excellent. My wife enjoyed the bourbon marinated salmon with salad and mixed vegetables. The restaurant is very convenient to the Holiday Inn Express and the Quality Inn in St. Robert (walking distance). We'll visit again next time were in town.More

Food choices are limited, but biggest issue is low staff ratio. The staff does their best, but seems to share staff between 3 hotels (Holiday Inn, 2 named Z something) and often is way understaffed.More

We called over from our hotel which was literally less than a block away. We were told our sandwich and fries would take 15 minutes it. It arrived 45 minutes later. Even though I have to admit the sandwich was delicious, the french fries were...very good, it took too long! If you can't deliver in the time that you specify, then maybe you should call your customer back and see if they still want the item that they ordered. Or at least have the courtesy to waive the delivery fee of $2 for their trouble. That's just our opinion, take it for what it's worth.More
