We were in the mood for pizza and tried this small, busy restaurant while in Bozeman for a wedding. They have very unique ingredients in their wood fired pizzas. It was very busy on a Thursday night, so we ate at the kitchen bar. Ended...More

We've lived in Boston, New York and San Francisco, all with many more Italian-Americans than the whole population of little Bozeman, but never have we had better pizza. Salads are also excellent and good Montana beers are on tap. A real find for food plus...More

I seriously don't know where to start..everything was SO GOOD. The service, the bread (ZOMG THE BREAD), the wine, the pizza, the atmosphere...it was all just top notch and so enjoyable for my family. Seriously - get the bread. Dense, chewy, delicious - everything bread...More

The Blackbird Kitchen in downtown Bozeman use to be a great place for informal dinners, it had a great Mediterranean menu complemented with a good wine list. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore. The Charcuterie plate was lacking variety and substance, the lamb dinner...More

The menu is mostly pizzas and pastas. Not your everyday junky pizzas, but completely made-from-scratch pizzas that are utterly flavorful and fresh tasting. If you like varieties to choose from, this is not the place for you. Check the menu in advance because it changes...More

As a female business traveler I eat alone at restaurants all over the country, but this place clearly does not get it. Heard good things about food so waited to get a spot at the bar. While food was good, it was a terrible experience:...More

My brother, his girl friend, and I stopped in here last minute for a quick bite to eat and it was phenomenal. We ordered the Mostardo Pizza (the one with crab apple mustard) and it was delicious. We also had the coffee which was very...More

It was an all around great experience. Service was top notch. A nice bottle of wine. Oven roasted carrots for an appetizer with a mushroom pizza main. And topped off with one of the best chocolate desserts I've had in a long time.

Yes, you can stop by from 2:00 pm to close to buy bread, you can also call during business hours or the day before to reserve a loaf as there is limited availability and it is sold on a first come, first served basis.
