The food is good, the atmosphere is laid back and rustic -- a great place to go if you're in the mood for a breakfast spot that makes you're back in Montana in the 1940s.

A great little spot where you can get a delicious breakfast and learn a little Bozeman history at the same time. Service is exemplary and prices are reasonable.

To find Stockyard Café, look for Story Mill and a sign paint outside that says Stockyard Calfe. Lots of locals eat here, so they are doing it right. Funny signs everywhere, and booth seats in red duck-tape. Toilet in another building, but they have a laminated sheet with directions. Lots of Bridger Bowl skiers eat here. Food and service (until... The road, the location, the surroundings all fit being located next to an old stockyard. We sat outside for breakfast and had the time of our life! The entire experience was a lot of fun, and yes, the food and service were great as well! The "menu" is quite entertaining and it was fun joking with the staff about it.... More

Finally open for breakfast again! Love the quirky rules and the food is locally grown/bought and the menu is simple and has a good selection on it. Less crowded than other breakfast joints in Bozeman and the food is just as good as the places on Main Street. Eat outside if the weather is good, we went at 10am on... More

My wife an I love this place and have been eating here for a long time. This is country cooking at it's best. The walls are covered with history, the staff are great, it's a fun place to eat, and the food is good. I like to sit at the bar chat with the staff and watch them cook. We've... More

Great breakfast, neat old building, friendly staff. Best ham steak I've had in ages. Cinammon raisin toast was excellent.

Just figure out how to find this joint! Cross the tracks and head for the stockyard. Hole in the wall where locals go for eats. Nothing fancy from outside but so authentic. Staff was excellent. Food was delicious!

Good old time cowboy breakfast. Friendly folks. Don't let the outside appearance or location fool you.
