Nice place to meet with friends and have cocktails. Food is better than average bar food! I would recommend to anyone.

Busy place; service was average. The veggie burger was good but it took an extra long time to get our food, and our server could have been more attentive, offering us more beer while we were waiting, etc.

Excellent appetizers, especially the pot stickers and asian sesame wings. Burgers did not disappoint. Very good selection of beers. Excellent music selection while we were there.

This is one of my favorite places and it never disappoints. I love the bison pot stickers which are done just right. This time I had the bison patty melt and it was great. It was winter and they had winterized the patio which is usually open only in warm weather but sitting there in the winter and being able... More

We visited Montana Ale Works on December 29,2016. We had a large group 10 plus people. The food and service was good. The management not so good. We tried to pay a portion of our bill with a Visa Gift card and paid the remaining balance with cash. The server came back to us and told us, at first, that... More

Went here on a Thursday night and it was super busy. We got a table and a drink, but it took forever to place our order. We were just debating on leaving when our server came back. Not really his fault, just seemed to have too many tables. Luckily our food, once ordered, came out remarkably fast. My husband got... More

Never a bad experience. Late afternoon before the dinner crush has been the best time for a quieter experience. This place gets busy, but worth it. Great staff with excellent beer knowledge and quick to offer a beer and entree pairing. We have never been disappointed.

Stopped for dinner after skiing. Place was packed but we got seats at the bar. Building is beautiful, drinks good, and food was excellent. Tons of energy and packed with fun people. We will be back on next visit!

Ale Works has a fantastic, rotating beer list, great food and a lively atmosphere. it's always packed and you may have to wait a few minutes, but it's worth it! It's noisy and busy later so go early if you want a quiet/romantic dinner.
