Loved this place for beers and a pizza after a long day exploring Yellowstone National Park. The beer was very cheap: PBR was on a $1 special. Unfortunately our waitress completely forgot about our food order, so we waited for ages until we realised that our pizza just wasn't coming. The waitress was very apologetic and brought us free drinks... More

This is my go to Saloon whenever I am in Cooke City. Food is always great and I always enjoy catching up with Danny (the bartender) a native Pennsylvanian. All of the staff are friendly as are the clientele.

Apparently they don't need the business because they could care less about serving you(alcohol or food). Very disappointed with the service.

Really good food and a cool bar atmosphere inside. It's in a very small town and the waitress said the population is about 70.

Were doing a Wolf Tour of Yellowstone and spending night in Cooke City.Guide recommended the Miners Saloon for supper-New Years Eve!!! It was great-a little noisy, a little raucous but fun! My wife and I shared a pizza and a salad and both were good. Had to have a "Moose Drool" beer. Service was prompt, and even though four of... More

My wife liked the look of this place and we had dinner here the night before we were due to fly from Cody to Salt Lake and from there to San Francisco to Sydney. Unfortunately, she lucked out. Once we were seated and the orders were taken, the service plummeted. The food was essentially slop on a plate, and the... More

Maybe Miners Saloon is a hangout for locals. I can't figure out their game, otherwise. Although we sat at the bar with virtually no other patrons, the servers all but ignored us. They certainly talked and joked enough among themselves in the back room though. Probably the most unwelcoming place in our whole trip. We had one drink each and... More

Cool place in a cool town just south of the Beartooth Pass. We had Red Lodge Brewing Bent Nail IPA and an excellent salad. The saloon even has a Dartmouth College (my Dad's school) banner on the ceiling.

I walked in with my service dog and the owner shouted out to the whole restaurant "NO DOGS!" We were staying across the street so I asked my husband to go and get my dogs service badge and his carrier - he is only 8 lbs. So, I sat down inside by the entrance to wait for my husbands return... More
