Used to be great and fantastic prices and character. Alas, it closed in the Spring of 2013. Go on to Livingston and try Mark's In N Out for similar burger, ice cream, et al.

This restaurant has changed hands a few times and the quality has gone down. The burgers buns are white bread and the burger meat was not as good as it use to be.

There was 12 of us in the group and already a 8 or 10 people there when we arrived. It took over an hour for us all to get our food. Big bummer! ...probably won't be back.

We always stop at the Pop Stand when we visit Livingston. They have an extensive menu and they can get rather busy at times. You may find at those times that service slows down. But, unless you are in a hurry, it doesn't matter because...More

Their burgers are very good but not their sandwiches or desserts. I haven't gone in since our last visit. The hubby ordered a pastrami sandwich and got a ham sandwich instead. I don't know what that was all about but we won't be back. Their...More

We were staying next door at the RV park (great place, Rock Canyon!) and wanted a quick bite to eat. I wish we would have tried another restaurant as this one was pretty gritty - needed a good scrub and a face lift (diner decor...More

It is exactly what it is. A pop stand......BUT. They make the best hand-scooped milk shakes and malts in Montana, and they have excellent food. They are friendly, and once your order is out they leave you alone to eat after they make sure you...More

We really enjoyed our burgers and shakes at the Pop Stand. Burgers were cooked just right and the shakes were thick and yummy. The prices were fair for what you got.

Wow this place ought to be on TV. Always stop here on our way to Yellowstone Park. Never had any problems and have always had excellent meals. Nothing fancy but if you like the old greasy hamburgers and fries this is the place to be.

Description
This place is tons of fun! 50's style diner from the black and white floor to the great Coca-cola decor! They have a puzzle set up of James Dean that the customers can work on. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The burgers are angus beef (buffaloe too) and excellent. I was just there and they have free kid's meals for kids 12 and under and a tv in the gameroom playing classic cartoons. They are also doing crafts with the kids on Wednesday nights! This is a fun, family friendly diner - a must try for anyone in the area!
